If the season restarts is a go, what are the Kings chances in making the playoffs? I wish I'm wrong but I expect them to disappoint and not qualify.

Holmes out for 10 days due to breaking bubble for fast food.

We have 3 or 4 positive cases of COVID from the players and now Holmes dumbass got himself quarantined for 10 days.

The players are all talk but no action to back it up.

This team is hopeless.

FIRst game isn’t until the 31st

For the young and fit Covid might pass through by that point

Hope at most one absence by that time..

Missing time due to COVID or quarantined = no practice, harder to get into game shape

Fox out with an ankle sprain. Slim chances are getting slimmer by the day.

He’ll tape it up if he can go... 7-10 days doesn’t sound too severe.. I sincerely hope he will be ready

This was one of the qualms though about his body, the potential injury issues which have played themselves out so far in his career. Let’s hope as he fills out these injuries stop

I agree, but it's the lack of reps with the other guys and general fitness that could be the issue. You don't want him not being physically ready for these games and potentially injure himself again. Either way, I'm still hopeful we can compete.

Let’s hope bagley is right mentally. Fox should be fine. I think we have a chance if we run.

Hope y’all are saying safe and healthy.

Welp, Bagley injured his foot in practice Sunday and had an MRI. Not looking good for Bags.

This guy is made out of glass.

I’m not sure if he should be considered part of the future core anymore. Me personally, I’m pretty much at the point where you need to sell him to the highest bidder to avoid massive value loss.

You need to be able to stay in the court to produce. Bagley hasn’t shown he can.

Can he still turn things around? Sure. I remember Beal was considered to be damaged goods with his injury concerns but he managed to become an iron man. Virtually indestructible. Same goes with Curry and his glass ankles. But I don’t think Bagley will realize his true potential in Sacramento imo.

I agree. I also just think they'll play better as a whole without him. He hasn't shown any real court vision on the floor so the ball doesn't move when it touches him, his mid-range and 3-pointer are mediocre, and he's a huge liability on defense. His best attribute is in transition and put backs, but he and the front office don't see it that way so they try to run to much through him imo. Holmes, Nemanja, Len, and Giles are a fine frontcourt rotation for now and Bagley, because of the pressure of being the high draft pick, confuses that situation. Especially since they want Barnes to be playing the 4 a lot as well.

That being said, I hope I'm wrong and he bounces back and avoids future injuries. I just don't see him being a core piece right now.

I think Bagley’s best position is small ball 5 in this current climate of the NBA. Even so, he needs to gain strength and bulk to survive at that position. Right now, he doesn’t really have the skill set to play the 4 because he lacks play making/ball handling, mid range play, and 3PT range. He is highly left handed dominant. No right hand whatsoever. He is predicable.

He is a glorified garbage cleaner at this point. Bagley views himself as a star player on offense but the end product tells a completely different story.

When the Kings decided to play slow (which I still think was a downright stupid decision/tactic), Bagley would be the player that suffered the most.

Yeah, I hope he proves me (and everyone else) wrong but I’m not going to hold my breath.

That Luka non-pick has effectively put this organization 10 yrs backwards. The Kings need to live with the Bagley pick. Whether still put their belief in him or sell him off ASAP.

Unfortunate about Marvin. Are we nearing the point of concern for his career?

Love Fox and Harrison back. All key contributors will be in uniform for the 31st

I don’t think you can sell him for worthwhile value at this point

Big development: A rough start for Hield

Before the shutdown, the Kings had shifted Buddy Hield to the bench and found some success, though that hasn't continued.

Several league insiders have commented that Hield looks out of shape. He has struggled on the court, going 7-for-26 overall and 3-for-15 from 3-point range through two games. That's not a great sign for the Kings, who have Hield starting a four-year, $94 million extension next season.

I wonder how much is Covid related?

Do you remember people saying he looked great and was working hard before he got corona?

Condolences.

Congratulations!

Though hope that Dumars isn’t the permanent guy.

This is good news even if Dumars is GM for next season.

If dumars is the gm this season, id like to see him given a longer term deal. No lame duck that sets us back even further.

Hes only remembered for what happened at the end. (Ben Gordon, Charlie V, Josh Smith) not good I totally get it.

But look what he did within 2 years of taking over that team. And further how they won 50+ games 7 years in a row and ultimately a chip. I would take a 7 year run like that any day of the week.

I'm not necessarily against giving him the job. But they need to decide soon. No way we go into thr draft and free agency then make a decision, that's awful management.
