Domingo German randomly retires from baseball tonight on his Instagram, apparently.
Putting his disgusting behavior off the field aside, losing his talent on the team sucks.

Clint hit a homer and Didi hit one for the Phillies. Masks work, people!

That's how you know things are getting back to normal...
Baseball is back! Mets back to stumbling and bumbling, Yankees back to mashing and bashing, Mets playoff hopes crashing, Yankees beginning to percolate

I hate it as well. So distracting, we all know there aren't people in attendance what's the point of the air conditioner noise?

Looks like Mookie Betts is trying to stay with the Dodgers beyond this season.
This is great news because it eliminates the possibility of the Red Sox getting the Dodgers' farm talent and waiting a year to re-sign Mookie.
Definitely a big blow for Boston to lose that bat.

They should just let each batter pick a theme song and blast that all the while he's at the plate. That'll address the otherwise dead silence and could lead to some real cool and funny tunes.
I mean they already kind of have it according to mlb.com
***TURN UP YOUR MIC TO THE MAX, CLOSE YOUR EYES AND IMAGING THE FOLLOWING GUYS WALKING UP WITH THE SONG BLASTING***
Clint Frazier's walk up song is "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X apparently. Anyone know that? Imagine that absolutely blasting on the speakers as Frazier walks up with the facemask?
Kyle Higoshioka walking up to the Kiss song "I was Made for Lovin You" (which apparently is Higgies song) would be even more hilarous.
DJL believe it all not has Gunna's "Speed it Up" as his walkup song.
No, I'm not making this up and picking these out of thin air. Here's the official MLB link for players "walk up" songs:
https://www.mlb.com/entertainment/walk-up/nyy
I mean if they really want to make it interesting...just crank it. They can even show the respective video on the big screen.

Betts I don't think ever wanted to be in Boston long term did he? He was kinda vocal (considering how quiet he is otherwise) about the racist tendencies of a unnecessarily high percentage of the Boston fanbase. That probably factored into trading him. Teams were going to offer him crazy $$$'s so it's not like Boston had any leverage there. All money equal I can't see Betts wanting to return to that type of environment.

Fcking Dodgers. I wanted Betts for the Mets. The names rhyme for crying out loud.

Red Sox fans are racist? What?! Let me look at the replies to this tweet...
I'll say this about John Henry. He knows a lot of his fans are just like the ones replying to that tweet and he still put that BLM up.
