Sad news. I read that he’s had like 20 relatives test positive to corona. That’s rough.

In positive corona news, Brendan Schaub has it.

(After defying all sense, carrying on his podcast in person, and travelling to Texas last weekend to congregate hundreds and hundreds of people together at TFATK shows.)

We can only hope he enters coma and dies.

I wouldn't wish death on Schaub, but he's been on such a tirade with spreading the "it's bull and not a big deal BS", that I wouldn't mind if he got really sick and had a good scare.

Or he's putting on a front (difficult to manage, I grant) cos it's the only option other than looking like the biggest **** in the world. Everyone is already so prone to hating him, he's such an untalented, arrogant prick who deserves nothing of his success. If he got seriously sacked by Covid, LOL...

So I hate to be that guy, but I’m gonna be him...

Jon Jones apparently ‘saved a mans life’ on July 4th as he was suffering from extreme dehydration etc etc

This comes on the heels of Him stopping a masked man from destroying and looting places.

Anyone else think he’s Paying guys off to act/do situations and pulling off little PR stunts to repair his image?

Eh, he's been getting yelled at on social media for posting about how he's been taking 15-20 mile bike rides with covid lol. Sounds like he really does have a super mild case. edit: I guess, only part of his front is posting douchy pics of himself with bike helmets on outside but not really riding the bike.

I wouldn't do that to Street Jesus!

We can also make the FUNKzone thread into the official unofficial Street Jesus thread.

Pretty sure he said he wouldn't watch in person if the commission said he had to wear a mask to do so. Just such a tough guy.

And also they won't help promote elite fighters into draws (even though they are literally the promoter) and want their independent contractors to do that for themselves.

But it's hard to care when the fighters won't do anything about it that might help.

This is completely random but I'm listening to Fight Companion and Rogan just said he rewatched Joanna/Weili and thought Joanna might have won. I was multitasking when I watched that fight live but I actually scored it 3-2 for Joanna as well I think. I never mentioned it because I never heard anyone else say it so I just assumed I had missed something.

6 of 21 media judges had it for her, and 46.9% of the fan vote (and 3.7% had a draw).

Please no Woodley vs Covington, Colby destroys sullen Tyron. I don't need to see that.

I just rewatched that fight about a week and a half ago. I also had Joanna but thought it was as close as you can get. So didn't think it was a big deal that Weili got the W. Reminds me of the Max/Volk fight. I had Volk but I totally get why so many picked Max (I thought Max had the better fight, but scoring by rounds gave it to Volk). I just chalked the Weili/Joanna fight up to, the judges gave the champ the edge in a close fight.

Khabib told to take all the time he needs to return... I wouldn’t be surprised if he ducks the JG.

Khabib has 6 wins in 5 years against guys ranked 2, 4, 10 and 2 unranked.

Compare that to Usman, 12 fights in 5 years and is 12-0 and fought guys ranked 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10

Khabib's the best fighter on the planet (not resume wise, but a "nobody can beat this dude" wise) but it does suck how inactive he is. Fighting once a year sucks, especially for a champion.

I don't think Khabib is dishonorable or scared of a challenge, in the least. He's sincerely tried to fight Tony multiple times, he took on all the pressure of fighting Conor...why would he be scared of JG? JG is brutal and violent but preferable to a KO from Conor, surely.

Also: the mean average of those rankings is lower for Khabib. 4.5 vs 5-something.
