Hope the Pacers hold onto their 5th seed. Don't want to face the Sixers earlier than necessary and rather face Miami in round 2.

If Indiana with a much more difficult schedule is able ends up at 5 instead of Philly, it'll show a level of weakness on the part of Philly that makes me a lot less worried about them. Philly has 5 games against sub .500 teams. If they win that first game against Indiana they could, perhaps even should, start out 6-0.

I have a Miami to win the East bet placed back in like January, it was some night they pasted Philly at Philly. I think it's $50 at 16-1. Would you just take the money back now since you can get out of all these bets or let it ride?

1. We haven't even re-started the season yet. I'm cautiously optimistic but wait until week 3 of quarantine to see how it is working. The risk wasn't that we would see lots of players earlier, but rather at any point a player could get infected and cause an outbreak.
2. IMHO, the bigger risk was not players testing positive, but the ethical issue of sending players and at-risk coaches/execs to Florida when they are running out of ICU room. Being in the bubble is probably safer in terms of not getting infected, but if you do get infected and at-risk I wouldn't want to be in Florida right now.

My understanding is the league has left it up to the players who test positive to disclose that publicly or not. I don't have an issue with that.

Great news on no new positive tests. Hope that continues.

This is good, but also the sad thing is that they have such little margin for error. A handful of positive tests - and that starts with one - is all that it'll take **** it all up. So, they BETTER have zero positives come back every single time.

Yup, I've got no interest in facing them. I'd rather face any other team in the East over them, including Philly and Boston and Toronto.

7.1% of NBA players testing positive at their homes.

0% of NBA players testing positive in the Orlando bubble.

So great for the fans and the players. Win-win. Can't wait for NBA basketball in 10 days. Start it up.

If you're high on our team/players I'm kinda surprised you'd be concerned by any east team.

DDV wil make the difference this year. Horst's March Madness scouting will come to fruition soon. I put my money on Horst. Time for him to deliver, Fed-ex style.

My biggest concern with Miami is playing them on the road and our guys being at the titty bar until 5 a.m. Inside the bubble, I'm not as concerned.
