Except that he hadn't just hit 58 HRs, won MVP, and he was batting a hell of a lot better than .140 or whatever god awful average he has right now.
He also had 3 SO in those 4 games and not the 7 he has now.

He's playing like ****. It's really that simple. Do I think he's going to continue to play this way? No, I don't, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't care. Once again this team is getting off to a putrid start and it will come back to bite them in the ass when, once again, they miss the playoffs by a game.
