Knicks, Nets Monitoring Availability Of Zach LaVine

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jul 24, 2020 8:00 pm

The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets have monitored the potential availability of Zach LaVine.

Sources tell SNY that both the Knicks and Nets have done background work on LaVine in case the Chicago Bulls make him available.

LaVine can become a free agent in 2022.

Oh god.... I guess he would fit the Knicks’ “exciting empty stats guy” role that Dennis Smith Jr was supposed fill. But they’d have to add an extra ball if he went to the nets :o

I'm going to guess Nets would be in a trade involving Spencer Dinwiddie and/or Caris LeVert.

The Bulls need a PG, and Dinwiddie should be a starter somewhere.

$20 million for THJr. Part II. No thanks.
