Mokaka likely just showed film to them of that game he closed out and he was unstoppable. They gave him the award for that!

Just spitting ideas for NBA re-formatting, but what if the league regularly took the approach of scrapping 8 teams at the 60 game mark? Spare them the misery of playing out the season. Organizations don't make revenue for those games missed. Oh my - that would be a hot topic. Meanwhile, they get put in a pool for a "loser" tourney, which does generate revenue. They play against each other. The 2 top teams get cash considerations and player bonuses to compensate the missed regular games. Too edgy? :dontknow:

Meanwhile the remaining 22 teams finish out the last quarter of the season; the schedule is shuffled with the remaining pool. Top-16 go on to the regular playoffs.

I'm kind of excited about this play-in tourney, assuming the 8-9 seeds are close enough to make it happen.

No idea where Duncan Robinson came from, but it feels like he can't miss a three. Just looked it up and with 17 games to go and 3.7 threes per game, he would have likely finished with around 306 threes for the season (5th all time, better than anyone not named Steph Curry or Klay Thompson). Just insane.

John Beilein special, take a underrated player and turn him into a legit NBA prospect.

Watching this game, it certainly isnt as lifeless as it was during the first few exhibition games. With piped in crowd noises it gives it a bit more life. Major plays are still neutralized but I guess you cant have it all.

I think the real intensity of the playoffs is where we will really feel the difference.

Man, Markannen would fit so well in this Pelicans team.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Lonzo is going to always be a journeyman if he cant learn to shoot or hit free throws. His defense and court vision are great but its hard to give a guy the keys to the franchise with those limitations.

He was also pretty bad when driving to the rim. He got lucky to be on a team with Zion (if he can every play over 20 MPG) that he can just get the ball to and let him do his thing.

AD is so talented. Bron looks a little stiff out there, his floor game still strong though. Kawhi and PG came to play.

He might be a top 10 "gifted" player of all time. He pretty much can do everything.

I wish I could watch the Bulls play. I need to figure out what team I’m going to adopt for the bubble. Probably between the Clips and Nuggets.

Yeah I'm ready for the playoffs. Sucks that it won't be a REAL NBA postseason with actual road games in hostile environments, but it'll still be interesting and better than nothing.
