Just a statement of fact. I neither offered an opinion on it or told anyone how to moderate anything.

I don't even think about mods.

Really loved watching Jaylen out there. I think he's been our most consistent player since the start of the year. He's not going to take over a game, but has established himself as a threat. Tatum started slow but had some nice plays. Smart played well. When he takes careful shots he's so much more effective.

On the downside, DEFENSE. I've talked about my feelings regarding effort with these guys, and hearing Scal talk about getting back on defense all night really hit it home for me. Not to mention, Phoenix bricked a lot of open 3s. This team has had a years-long running problem of not closing in or switching on D fast enough. Also, Gordon scored 17?? Could've fooled me. He's always getting those quiet points.

Onto the next. MORE ROMEO, PLEASE!

Jaylen looked great; like he may have taken even another jump. Tatum will get his feet under him soon.

Loved how Romeo played. Already gets his 3 off pretty easily. People have been comparing him to Jaylen and I like that comp. He's similar to young Jaylen but replace Jaylen's raw athleticism with a good feel for the game and handle. Both can get to the rim easily, are good defenders, and have a decent foundation for their three ball.

I like what Edwards has been doing. Focusing more on distributing the offense than getting his shot off. Kid needs to prove he can run an offense and not just stop the offense with a 3 heave or dribble pull-up. He did a decent job getting Romeo going and keeping the ball moving the last couple games. Dude has to be able to run the offense as a point/distributor if he ever wants to have a consistent role anywhere.

I keep thinking how we just need to get one more all-star on this team.

Jaylen is showing he's the perfect bail out option on any team. As long as he's only put in position to finish the play (3 point shot, or dunk) he converts it at a high level.

Gordon got points but you don't remember them because it happened in the flow and he didn't really create much out there.

I don't know how, but if we can convert Gordon and these first rounders into like a Bradley Beal or something, with Jaylen as the ultimate open shot maker we can have a real contender on our hands here.

I like your idea but maybe wrong dude, I'm not sure he tilts it's that much further than Hayward it tilts but ...

This quote really caught my eye. Hard to come away with a lot of real takeaways from a scrimmage but this quote makes it sound like Romeo is in the mix to earn a rotation spot and minutes in not only the seeding games but even maybe the playoffs.

Only a scrimmage but he had the best defensive rating on the team when he was in yesterday. His 6'4" 215 lb frame gives him potential to guard 1-3 pretty regularly which is a huge bonus and he's great at attacking the rim offensively getting to the line 5x in 12 mins.

I mean I think a pre broken Hayward would have been perfect, but with Kemba you need to make up that efficiency.

And a guy on a horrible team putting up 30 ppg and 6aspg on on 45/35/84 seems like a pretty great fit for a Brad. I also saw some breakdowns where it appears he gets his offense off handoffs in the same way Brad would got a healthy IT open so I feel like Brad already knows and has plays to get him open.

Sadly I also just don't know who else is free haha. And the last thing we need is a ton of more late firsts and second rounders on this team imo :P

We need scoring off the bench, there are about 8-15 minutes up for grabs ... Wanamaker will get a chunk of those for now but Romeo Tremont and Carsen all have a legit shot at PO mins.

As far as the scrimmages, I don't get all of the overly negative sentiment toward game 1. CP3 came to play OKC played their best, we came to scrimmage and struggled but still only down 5 at half when starters sat

Hayward is playing very well, Waters Romeo & Grant have looked very steady both games. I would play Romeo and Waters amap during 8 game play in. MOST of all we need another scorer off the bench ! get em ready for POs !! DA did not add to the roster, he believes in what we have ..... I believe too but someone has to emerge !

Absolutely. And I think he will definitely be a factor for when Hayward leaves for the birth of his child. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the start in those games.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

If Boston is still playing, that is.

I want to see more of Romeo, maybe give him a baptism by fire over the 8 play-in games. He has good fundamentals, unlike Robert Williams, so I don't think he's going to hurt you, at least defensively. He also seems like a good candidate to benefit from playing with no audience. He's been a bit gun-shy on the court in game action and he's a rookie with a rebuilt shot.

This game doesn't officially count, but this is our last chance to beat the only team we haven't beaten this season. :D Unless we meet in the Finals, of course.

Not ony in transition, but we were getting targeted down low in both games. Coaches are trying to take advantage of our undersized centers with their bigger bodies. It's going to keep being like that in the playoffs.

You couldn't ask for a better final scrimmage opponent.

This will be a nice test to see how the re-start Celtics look against top talent and team.

So does Perk know something we don’t or is this just a mistake on his part referring to kemba still being brought along slowly
