He looks like AG with a proper feel for offense. I'd trade anything on this team not named Isaac or Fultz for him.

Reading the recent pages of the thread it sounds like Isaac looks as great as his box score suggests.

How does Fultz look in limited minutes so far?

Fultz is looking good too. Hit a corner 3 with no hesitation and also hit a mid range jumper at the end of the 1st. He is running the offense well and pushing the tempo compared to DJ.

My only concern about Fultz is that he's starting to look like Payton did on defense. Happy to be a step too slow chasing defenders or trying to navigate screens.

We had a three on one fast break where Fultz layed the ball off to Birch who was filling the right lane. Birch layed it in and then Fultz just started walking back. Denver immediately inbounded and pushed the ball up the floor off of the made basket and got a fast break opportunity of their own. They ended up with a mismatch of Fultz guarding Millsap where he got an easy basket in the paint.

This is the sort of thing that we should be able to do with Fultz. He's so good at pushing the ball up the floor and forcing mismatches by attracting attention before the defense is set. It's such an advantage to start your offense with mismatches already in place.

i like the ball movement today, seen some good things from everybody today.....oh....except birch.....why isn't bamba playing again? we've given up quite a few buckets at the rim, some rim protection would suffice.

Yeah. There is just no chance of this happening though. The only player that they'd deal him for would be Isaac. It's not that he is that important to their success, but rookie-scale players that are productive are just so valuable so there has to be a really compelling reason to move on from such a player.

The only way to steal rookie-scale players is if they are in the dog house, in and out of the rotation, or due for an extension.

I think it's a lack of appreciation for potential threats. I think it's the same problem with Bamba. People just like to label them as lazy, but when they appreciate the threat, they are fully engaged.

Fultz just seems to switch off sometimes. He will chase someone hard around a double screen and then think the job is done only to have the player freed up by one more screen. The way he was walking back after that made layup by Birch is another example, but it's a teachable moment, and I really don't think it's an effort thing. I think he will learn from those sorts of lapses. I still expect he will be a really good defender.

He still looks like he's working himself into shape. The team functions so much better when he's on the court. The 3 from the corner looked pretty sweet.

This starting unit looks so damned languid and methodical compared to the eight minutes we got out of that second unit.

So do I. He isn't talented enough to be coasting on both ends.

DJ brings absolutely no energy to the game at the point guard position. If he isn't looking to score, he is worthless.

DJ as a scorer is tolerable.

At least the Magic responded to Clifford after the timeout. Nice run.

Can't believe Vuc didn't just dunk the ball being that close to the rim.
