That Detroit preseason game was the worse thing that could have happened to Edwards. Now he thinks he can turn on a switch and hit every 3 he sees.

Wanamaker is just even more unimpressive in this setting. His weaknesses really show up when he’s the main ball handler

Semi, Grant, and Romeo all look likely to get minutes in the seeding games. That’s the real takeaway for me

Romeo's floor game looking good. But some of those jump shot misses were BAD. Sprayed left and right, not just long or short.

Good players are force multipliers in this league. Not only do they bump every lesser player down one slot on the depth chart thus improving you at every roster slot below them, but they also draw defensive focus off of lesser players, and simultaneously relegate those lesser players to lower usage roles, where they can, at least in theory, be more efficient.

The point is that lesser players tend to look worse, not better, when not surrounded by competent vets. Taking all of your depth guys and throwing them out there at once against a good team is almost always going to be pretty rough.
