Journeyman Elfrid Payton is a better all-around player. Yall hate him because we didn't draft him, Frank would be chased off the court by you if he wasn't our draft pick. :banghead:

I don’t even want Dunn on the Knicks but if we’re gonna try and win games, I take Dunn and never look back. Defensively, there’s no comparison. Thibs is gonna try to win next season so yeah.

It's not great, but it's really not that horrible. A few more 3's and he will look decent at least. 3D guards still have value, if he can become that.

Well if it's Frank or Elfrid Payton then there's no debate. Elfrid Payton was the worst point guard who actually played minutes last year in the whole league. His shooting numbers made Lonzo Ball 2018 look like Steve Nash.

You can't do worse and have it matter in any meaningful way. Frank will at least shoot a **** 3 if open.

I agree with that. If he can be a slightly below average shooter from 3 he adds enough on defense to be a valuable player for us.

I really want him to become that as I like defensive effort players, growing up on the 90's Knicks. I wouldn't mind having Dunn on the team as a reserve as well, but we really need to mix in some shooting in our backcourt. And much more passing and creativity at PG so we hopefully have less ISO-Randle Spin-cycle and more ball movement.

Elfrid was our best PG, but I don't see much potential for him. Frank has a chance to develop so it's an easy choice if between the two to pick Frank.

Anyway, if there is a guard on the roster that deserves to be trashed it is DSJr. Now he was truly awful.

And the team almost always plays better with Frank on the floor.

Some people love low efficiency non-team oriented players and at a certain point the anti-Frankism's do not come off merely as frustrations with us stans dominating threads. It appears more like a defensive form of deflection to make up for their chosen players' own failings.

I'm proud to be a Frank Stan and will ride with him as long as he suits up as a Knick. He is unique, thus incomparable. After all, it is a toss-up between him and MJ as to who is the GOAT.
