Paul is the most complete player in this group. He doesn't have any weaknesses in his game. One drawback would be his lack of scoring aggression although it hasn't been as big of an issue as his untimely injuries.

Parroting what others have said, a healthy Paul has a strong argument for best PG ever and if he was a few inches taller, we would be looking at a GOAT level player.

Lethal from all areas of the court, excellent passer, one of the highest basketball IQs ever, arguably the best defender ever at the PG position, etc. Add to that his strong prime and longevity, Paul has a better case for top 10 all time than being outside of top 20.

Of the 3, i think the least talented was Wade. Harden is more creative and skilled than Paul, but Paul has the higher IQ. It's difficult to pick one of them.

But, paradoxically enough, i think Wade had the higher peak as an overall basketball player. He's more athletic, better motor and just had more of a killer instict and will to win. In his absolute prime, he was like a smarter and better defender Westbrook. To me he's a top 3-4 SG of all time. It's a shame his prime was pretty short and he declined very fast.

I would say wade has such a clear advantage as far as physical tools ( his wingspan is bonkers), that it boils down to cp vs harden. Just 'pure talent' from a standpoint of range of positive things they can do on the floor sort of innately, i would roll with cp3 but harden is close. Especially if we are talking prime chris paul. Harden is no doubt the most talented scorer of the bunch, but defense and passing are also talents.

Wade is more skilled than Harden for sure. People are just saying he is less skilled because of the career 3P%, but if you take that out of the equation, it’s not close IMO.

If LeBron had CP3 in 2011 he would've won 4 in a row

In a non run/jump yes. Harden's strength, balance and quickness is otherworldly.

Yeah i get what you saying, but still and i dont see much of a gap, only in low body strenght and maybe balance. Wade is better in anything else athletically.

Harden is way more craftier than Wade, and thats saying something, because Wade was crafty as hell.

Harden is a genius looking for angles to drive, using his footwoork and anticipating the defense move. Thats why he blows by most people. He may be the goat in that regard. If he had Wade/Westbrook athleticism it would be unfair.

Glad to see other people recognize this. Harden's overall athleticism gets underrated so much because of his lack of leaping ability.

Yes, he can't jump high, but his quickness and strength are very elite. Balance is a great mention too.

Younger wade was a special, special player. He was a different player entirely from the Wade that we saw 2012 onwards. I can tell a few people in here have forgotten him by implying Harden is a better athlete.

You gotta have the burst to make it through those tight angles that Harden does. His explosive first step is what sets up his entire triple threat and drive game.

For sure Wade, creativity in the paint like no tomorrow. Won a championship being the man. CP3 is second in my books but I'm biased against Harden's game. Whichever of them goes farther in the playoffs will show who out of them is 2nd.

Wade's counting stats in 08-09 are very close to Harden the past few years which is impressive considering how much the pace of the game has changed.

All three play a disgusting brand of ref baiting basketball and I don't rate any of them.
