Oh well, if the starters can keep the game in range, than the bench with Fultz, Tross, and JI should destroy the other team's backups. Would be cool to see Bamba play some minutes with JI and Fultz, instead of Birch IMO.
I like Fultz separated from Fournier because he plays better.

There may be something to that, I watched some early season Magic games during hiatus and it was fun to see Fultz come off the bench picking up the pace, finding TRoss trailing on Fast breaks for three, and throwing lobs to Bamba (imagine that ?). I'd love to see us acquire a Two guard that moves off the ball well and shoot the lights out like TRoss but more consistent to put into the SL with Fultz next year (unless Fournier accepts that role).

A SG who can do some things off the dribble but isn't soley interested in pounding the ball and waiting for a high screen from Vuc. A Klay Thompson, Ray Allen, Rip Hamilton, Reggie Miller type of two guard.

In the 4 games Fournier missed, Fultz averaged 19 ppg 7 rpg 7 apg in 29 mpg.

Has this always been the case or is this bubble-protocol?

Because with players who aren't in shape/injured the minutes shouldn't be up to the coaches who would just play guys 40 minutes to try to win each individual game regardless of circumstance.

Magic basketball is back! Transition defense is going to be the key in this game. Limit their fastbreak opportunities and limit our turnovers and we should be in good shape. Will definitely have my eyes on Coach Clifford and his rotations for this game. Also here's hoping that Evan will actually find his shooting stroke in these 8 games.

I have been waiting for this for too long!

Go Magic. I sense that DJ is going to have a big game.

Imagine having a STARTING lineup of Chiozza, LeVert, Joe Harris, Lance Thomas, Allen and being the bench that has to go against Markelle Fultz and Jonathan Isaac :o

That's the way Weham does it. I assume they do stress tests and other things to determine what a player can safely play.

This is Orlando Magic specific. Clifford has been leaning on what every the training staff believes are the best minutes for these players to preserve their health and reduce risk of injury. Which is understandable in this context. I think every team is trying to be cautious.

Oh gosh I kinda feel bad for Issac being the only one standing.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Jonathan Isaac noticeably does not kneel for the anthem.
