Continuation of the season but it feels like a new season. The Nets are already off to a great start to keeping their pick getting destroyed by the Magic.

Pretty cool news, last year I got an oculus Quest VR headset and once in a while they put NBA games on there and its fun to watch with people. It's like 2 a month. Looking like they have really pushed the VR games right now as it seems there is a game almost every day. That's pretty cool, def a fun way to watch games.

Big game on Sunday as the Nets play the Wizards. If the Nets win that game then the Wizards would have to overcome a 3 game deficit with 6 games left just to force a play in.

Ja Morant is a game-changer and backs up my claim that having an elite guard is better than a big. An elite can carry a team for sure.

I am very concerned about Grant very low rebounding number. Crowder is a very streaky shooter...

I feel like Crowder shoots better when his team really needs a spark. I've always seemed to notice him in those moments of games.Maybe one day I'll check splits and try to find a correlation.

Well, he has been bad in playoffs. When his team really needed a spark.

Really, I'm not sure if it would show in splits say when the team is > or < 5 difference or anything, but when an opponent goes on a run against his team he's usually the one I see with instant back to back 3s to stop their run and gain chunks back quickly, then usually a high motor play defensively as well. Just going off memory it seems like the only time I really notice him in games.

Adding context, right now he is playing for his last big contract. His current contract was considered as bargain at the time when Ainge signed him, but honestly Crowder has not outplayed his contract. I wonder how much he will get this off-season, because I like his fit in MIN as we need big, experienced wing.

I see your point. Could Wolves possibly get him cheap enough?

But I've said it before when it comes to him years ago now. I was hoping they would have added him years ago as he's been available and bouncing around the league even though he's a good player. This spring a few of us were discussing him and someone brought up a drop in numbers. I hadn't looked then but you are saying now he hasn't matched his current deal. I'm concerned now that this team missed his prime usefullness and it might be like getting the last leg of Kevin Martin type of deal. Maybe too late? I'm not so sure. Aside from a big drop playing for Memphis, he's now with Miami and over the last 14 games and he's had maybe his best shooting run he's ever had across the board. But like Covington and Saric joining the team here it always could be a honeymoon. It also could be team fit in Miami as they have a really nice roster right now. Maybe things are just clicking for them?

I think he will re-sign for cheap with MIA. He has been wildly inconsistent through his career, especially in playoffs, so he cant be 6th man for playoff team, more 7th, 8th man in wing heavy rotation. As for contract, I think that Lou Williams deal 24mil/3yrs should be used as good example of fair deal for solid veteran who does play from the bench. In Jae Crowder case I'd start my negotiation even from 28mil/4yrs 2+2 deal, final offer 30mil/4yrs 3+1 deal. But who knows how covid situation will affect new NBA contracts. I feel like Jae will have problems with finding even 8-9mil deal per year in playoff teams (multiyear). He can sign big deal with DET, CHA etc.

7-game lead over Washington should all but seal it

Love him or hate him - LeVert brought home the win for the Wolves, er, Nets.

LeVert contrary to what some people on the board think is a very good player.

Gary Trent Jr. has been a bubble star.
