he's out of minor league options after this season. For a 60 game season, who is willing to trade for a mediocre outfielder? yankee fans overvalue this guy way too much. the fact of the matter is, frazier isn't all that good.

FAct of the matter? Are you the fact master? He's a proven major league bat. Teams believe it or not can use that. Wait...let me guess...;he sucks cause you hate the Yankees. Astro fan are you? Or a Met fan?

nope i'm a yankees fan. i just watch enough games to see that our outfield is stacked there's no place for him on the team. if there was a market for him, he'd be gone already.

And what does that have to do with his value to another team? We are talking about trade value right? Just because he has no room in NY (which he doesn't) has what to do with his trade value? This is the same crazy Phil Jackson logic about trading guys and looking for a return based only on what he valued the player at. There are plenty of teams out there that could use Frazier's bat which is proven (unlike a lot of top hitting prospects). And with the NL going full blown DH in 2021, Frazier's value across both leagues will increase even with concerns about his fielding. He's 24 years old and has a ton of control left with a significant big league bat. That is value for most every team that is needing a bat (and there are a lot of teams that need bats right now and for the forseeable future based on their farm system and their inability to spend big on free agents).

Maybe he's waiting for the 2nd half to get hot? Not like Kyle Higashioka is doing much better? Sanchez is at a -80 OPS+, while Higashioka is at a -100 OPS+. Sanchez is the Whiff Meister while Higashioka is Butterfly Kisses with the bat.

I didn't realize that Kyle Higashioka has a SO rate of 46% last season (in 56 at bats, he struck out 26 times). :o  That's ok if he's Dave Kingman reborn maybe but damn....

Russell Martin is still a free agent.

Also considering that the Marlins season may be hanging by a thread, the Yankees can probably trade a bucket of bolts for this guy just to save the Marlins some cash...

Oh we know all about Higashioka's shortcomings. Sanchez though was a part of the reason Girardi was let go and with him gone, Sanchez isn't exactly setting the world on fire. However, as frequently said by our commentators, his bat is still very good compared to other catchers. Starting the season 0-15 with 10 Ks just irks the hell out of me though.

I type this and he gets his first hit of the season.

Is Britton injured? Save opportunity and now tying run at the plate and Britton isn't even warming up.

I don't understand Boone's thinking the last few games.
