22:30 for me, fantastic. Hoping for Jayson to get a haircut and bounce back :D
Good assessment:

No kidding!

The Bucks were given 34 FT's while the Celtics only went to the FT line 34 times.

Totally unfair!

Taking the ball off the rim and punching people in the dick are all unfair calls, I agree.

The Blazers are a decent team, they have however no wing defenders whatsoever. We have lots of good wings. Exploit that. Smart on Lillard and Brown on Cj should be good enough, just need to box out Nurkic and attack him better then we did Brook Lopez.

Edit: oh and whenever Whiteside is in the game we should kill them, mercilessly.

Yeah pointing out equal free throws as a means of fair refereeing is fun until you remember they missed 2 times to foul Giannis out and missed a goal tend he had.

So, 1. Celtics should've had more free throws and 2 more points and 2. Giannis should've fouled out. Both facts

After that Bucks sh@t storm, I want every Celtic to be pissed except Tatum. I want him to feel embarrassed, and as a team just cut these teams down early.

If keeping 3rd seed is still important, then winning this takes a bit of pressure off. Heat, after they win against the Nuggets tonight, are just 1.5 games behind.

I'm willing to trade the 3rd seed though if we can get back fully healthy Kemba and all-NBA Tatum.

Celtics are now 6-16 when Tatum doesn't play or he's a negative in +/- while on the floor (-13 last night vs. MIL). That's 16 of our 22 losses. Basically we need to win the minutes when he's on the floor. 'Cos the Celtics already kinda struggle when he's on the bench.

We're only going as far as Tatum can take us. Sort of. Unfair to ask from a 19-yo, but it is what it is.

Usage between our top 5 guys was evenly distributed in the Bucks game:

Tatum the only one with the negative player impact estimate. His usage was 33% in the 4th but PIE got doubly worse.

Glad to get another game in right away.

The Blazer's aren't that under .500 team as their record indicates now that they got their entire frontline back from injury...

but they're not a team with an MVP candidate like the Bucks/Lakers/Clips. They're on our tier.

If Tatum doesn't revert to form and find success against them then we can be concerned that it took him 4 months to find a hot month and maybe the restart isn't enough time for a young player to find his peak performance.

Either way this isn't a team that's simply a tier above us in almost all respects so it'll be much more enjoyable to watch.

That said at the moment I'm pretty surprised the Heat blasted the Nuggest and the Thunder are blasting the Jazz so who knows maybe it's still too early to think through any game and the restart is too much of a coinflip aside from teams with MVP level players win.

Shouldn't come as a surprise. Nuggets were without Gary Harris and Murray. Skeletal team for most of their time in the bubble with all their covid and non-covid injuries/absences.

Jazz are without Bogdanovic and have to rely on Clarkson's scoring more. They could barely beat the Pelicans that didn't have Zion late in the game. Plus the Thunder are really, really good. They might not be in the same tier as us talent-wise but they're ahead of us in terms of cohesion and execution.

Our wings should dominate in this game. As long as we don't get massacred in the battle of the paint and Dame doesn't go nuclear on us, I think we edge them out.

Think we lose this one. Given our stake in the Mem pick and the likelihood of facing Philly round 1, wouldnt be the worst thing IMO.

Philly looks so bad away from home that I'm honestly not that scared of them anymore
