Define valuable. If I am Suns GM I trade for Mitchell in a heartbeat and try to get 2 max contracts in 2021 which gives me the best chance to win a championship. This kind of scenario is impossible if you have Booker so he is more of a missing piece not someone you build around. That alone is why Mitchell is more valuable.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

Booker is a better player, therefore he is more valuable.

I guess it means that Gobert and Mitchell must be pretty good, no?

Exactly. Conley is washed up and Gobert barely produces while Ayton is a generational talent and they have the best 3 and D in Bridges.
Suns have way more talent yet they are bottom tier lottery. I dont think Booker is better than Mitchell. You can make a case they are equal talent.
This is some really poor reasoning. The development of Cam and Mikal alone is going to close the gap significantly next season. Roster depth, system, culture all play a role in winning; all things that the Jazz have in their favor. Won't be long before the Suns surpass the Jazz in the standings. Jazz really don't look happy out there.

Gobert is Utah's best player by a huge margin. People like to poo-poo his defensive impact because he doesn't also score 20ppg (and to be clear, he probably could score 20ppg), but he's still an impactful and incredibly efficient offensive player.

I agree. Gobert has a huge impact on winning.
