Man this Raptors team would be so scary if Kawhi would have stayed...

No question we repeat if he stays.

Yes it’s only a regular season game but this was a good old fashioned eastern conference defensive, grind it out game. You don’t need to score 150 if you can get stops. Great start for the raptors in their title defence.

It’s sad that you know the officiating will be different in order for the league to push their Lakers-Bucks agenda.

Its because he's not consistent. On average he doesn't affect the opposing players FG% at all.

Raptors are definitely running on champion's pride, and you love to see it. Give Nick Nurse the Coach of the Year award right now.

I'm happy my Raps won this game but I'm not drawing too many conclusions from this game. The playoffs are the real test. How far can we get as a Kawhi-less squad. 4 to 7 game series against the same team is very different from a regular season game.

With the caveat that I think the Bucks will still win. Beating the Raptors in a best of 7 is going to be tough.

That being said, a matchup between the Celtics and the Raptor will be a battle.

Because he knows there is nothing he can do about this Raptors team. They just play better basketball. Period.

Last night I said “damn, Tatum 1-17 and Kemba on a mins restriction and it’s a tie game with MIL with 80 secs left. I have Boston coming out of the East!”

Tonight it’s “holy hell the Raps have championship pedigree, Lowry controls the whole game, and they perfect the gameplan where everyone is on the same page. Raps are coming out of the East!”

I don't know what the stats say, but the eye ball test tells me that OG is the Raptors best defender, and the Raptors are one of the best defensive teams in the league so it'd be weird if they don't even have ONE player on the all-NBA defensive teams.
