I'm surprised they didn't try to feed him in the post and tell him to make quick decisions. He just caught the ball and wait for the double...too passive

Raps doubled him with smalls every time he touched the ball.

He got swarmed whenever he touched it. Think the ECF and Giannis.

Putting CJ Miles on Kevin Love also probably didn't help either

What did he say? We got Fred on the Canadian feed.

Asked about kneeling for both the Canadian & American national anthems pre-game. Said it felt like a age but was only 4 mins and to compare that to the cop kneeling on George Floyd’s neck for twice that time gives you perspective (sic).

AD and LeBron had rough games because the Raptors made them have rough games.

I see what's going on now. You're fishing for And-1s from Raps fans, aren't you?

Not at all. I actually like Toronto and the way they play. Always have. If Celtics don’t come out of East I want the Raptors. Love the way they play.

Alright, I'll let it slide this time. But just remember...

Raptors had a game plan like this was the playoffs. Lakers came out like it's the second meaningless bubble game. They doubled AD on the catch. That was their game plan and it worked.

Yes, but not until the playoffs. Raptors only showed that card briefly. We are holding it close to our chest.

For all of you not aware, this Raptors team hasn't shown anything to any Eastern Conference contender at all this year. Like, literally nothing.

Nick Nurse doesn’t bring out his best defensive schemes in the regular season. He has a whole lot more in his locker for when it matters.

Kyle Lowry had an incredible night

33 PTS
14 REBS
6 AST
8/16 FG
5/9 3PT

Avery Bradley is surely missed.

Lol LeBron is very good but prime Giannis is a different beast. Love me some OG but I'm scared of that one.

Unlike other teams the Raptors have a different game plan for every single game. Also this game plan you saw tonight will only be one of many approaches Nurse will use if and when we meet in the finals. It's how he rolls. also why he's the best coach in the league.

Lol what? There's like an 33 minute video of Raptors locking Giannis down.

That's what they do to Western Conference opponents, and why not? It's great practice.

On the other hand, they have shown NOTHING to Eastern Conference teams this entire season. Go watch the last two games against the Bucks. We play defense like a JV team.

Nurse is playing 4D chess

Uhmm... Is that all you got?

Cause they double Anthony Davis..

But also switched on every position, played Some coverage that at times broke man to man. LeBron was also met with two defenders and primarily OG.

They gave Laker scrubs open 3s but closed out at times..
