Did not see any of the usual LeBron antics tonight. What happened?

So that means LeBron really carried the laker team on his shoulders this season right?

If Lakers win the title that'll exactly be the narrative yes.

We are about 2 months from the narrative that Anthony Davis was just an innocent bystander who got carried to the title by the one and only King James

Raps match up well on Lakers. They probably don't see each other in the playof though

Looked passive as hell to be honest. Raps play great defense aswell but i didn't see AD exert himself either. Lebron im actually done with trying to judge because half the time i feel he's analyzing opposing teams. I'll judge him during the playoffs.

Raptors front-court tends to take opposing bigs out of games a lot. They did a beautiful job on Davis today. He never got going and they pretty much made sure he never got any confidence or drive in his game today.

rock paper scissors. AD gets bothered by speed and length. But he is good against size and strength. Siakam actually did a great job denying AD touches whenever he takes the assignment.

JV should show up at the Sixers games just to mess around with Joel Embiid.

AD hitched his wagon to LeBron. He is who he is. Ain't a damn thang wrong with being the #2. Scottie in the Hall of Fame.

Lol what? There's like an 33 minute video of Raptors locking Giannis down.

Yes with Kawhi as the primary defender who can match up much better from a strength perspective. Giannis has clearly improved too.

Kawhi might have been the primary defender but he still had great help defense... Raps might have the best help defense in the league it's insane how good it is. Mostly because players spurt like crazy. Also Gasol is still there...A player i personally think did more to hinder Giannis than Kawhi.

Whats crazy is that the defense might be even better in the bubble where the fans aren't drowning out communication and they can hear each other clearly.
The key is not the ‘will to win’… everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important

Unlike other teams the Raptors have a different game plan for every single game. Also this game plan you saw tonight will only be one of many approaches Nurse will use if and when we meet in the finals. It's how he rolls. also why he's the best coach in the league.

Impressive

not sure if you're being sarcastic but it's true. i don't actually get why other coaches don't do it too but apparently they don't. our previous coach Dwayne Casey literally never even made a game plan for any playoff game. it was incredibly maddening. Nurse is a whole other ball game though.

Pretty much this. Fun match up i think you guys have a legit shot at winning it all.

Great game by the Raps. Props. Nurse is a well respected tactician. We now have more game tape and insight to tactics. That's how it works. The Clips/Raps etc games will not be played the same way next time around. Gonna be fun.
We now have to slam the door on the 1st seed, to try to make our run easier thru the rugged west. Its clear to me however, its gonna be a final 4 of Raps v Bucks. LA v LA. Any 1 of these teams can raise the banner.

Lowry was great tonight but OG is the real story. He has taken a big step in his game and looks ready to really impact the playoffs this year after missing out last year with the appendectomy.

AD was supposed to be what Bosh was to Miami. Problem is he need to be #3 on the team not #2. Lakers original plan was for Kawhi to be #1, Lebron #2 and that would have worked for them.

Double AD + better Center guard him + more reactive defensive team that switches efficiently. Ball gets out of AD hands and into inferior shooters.

That's the short story.
