Sure, the Raptors are really good, but let's be honest, the Lakers came out of the gate down 13-0 (LOL), and had absolutely no sense of urgency. Aside from a few plays from LeBron, the consistent defense of Caruso, and the streaky shooting of Kuzma, the Lakers were pretty bad tonight. If these two teams played in the Finals I'm sure Davis has more than one point at half time lol.

And Danny Green, as bad as he was tonight, will probably hit like 5 threes in the next game.

It’s almost like the Lakers didn’t look good because of the Raptors defense and perfectly executed gameplan all night.

ya he's not giving the Raptors defense any credit....AD having 1 point at the half wasn't a mistake, the Raptors defensive gameplan was to double team AD and get the ball out of his hands....they did the same to Embiid early in the season and he had that infamous 0 point game. Raptors have a history this season of double teaming superstars and successfully taking them out of the game.

Sure, Davis' one point might be due to the Raptors' defense, but Danny Green's six wide open missed 3's aren't. Basically, the Raptors won because both of those instances happened, whereas in a series the odds are low that both Davis struggles (one point at half) and Green misses wide open 3's like it's his job.
G - James | Rondo
G - Bradley | Caruso
F - Green | Caldwell-Pope
F - Davis | Kuzma | Morris
C - McGee | Howard

He can’t admit the Hawks got fleeced lol. He loves Trae Young. This is his reasoning for not liking Luka:

“ I don’t like inefficient ball dominators. It’s a style I wouldn’t personally draft. I said what I said.”

Yet he LOVES Trae, and their efficiency ratings are very similar...

It's not like the all the Raptors players had great games either....Powell was 3-12 which is rare, Siakam 5-17, Ibaka 2-6

Powell averages 16.4 ppg, Siakam 24 ppg, Ibaka 16 ppg

Why did Gordon Hayward get hate for having Education Reform on his jersey but nothing about LBJ & Davis among others having their names?

og did as good a job on defense as you can do on lebron for a full game. nate duncan said if he had to pick one player to guard the best guy on the other team 1 on 1, his pick was og.

My thoughts as well. From what I gathered, it wasn’t good enough for some people.

Suns gave away TJ warren AND a high second round pick for cash. Warren has a very good contract too.

Knicks have away a young star (their first good draft pick in years) to free up cap space which they used on Julius Randle

Just wild asset management. There's a reason these teams have been terrible for years

Because he should have had "Scared" at the back of his jersey.

Let's not act like in a potential finals match up that AD will magically go ham and the Raptors will magically continue to shoot 40% every game. Not to mention continuing to expect 30+pts from Kuzma/Waiters/Caruso. And Danny Green doesn't need the Rapts help to go 0'fer.

The fact from this game is that it took the Raptors to shoot 40% for it to be "close."

That FVV to OG alley-oop was amazing. I know I shouldn't, but I just love this Raptors team. Can't wait for my Celtics to face them in the playoffs.

Kyle is like the guard version of Marcus smart ... you love him on your team, he’s the heart and soul of your team and flops like there is no tomorrow

Danny Green is a streaky shooter who lives and dies by the 3. Besides a small handful of games, his shot was off the entire playoff run last year. Hes a great role player, and hes proven he can be a guy who can make a difference in the past, but he's way too inconsistent to be the difference between winning and losing.
