Holy **** the media attention the Raps got tonight is kinda crazy.

They got more media attention in the states than they did here but nobody will talk about that. The Raptors opener Last night was on sportsnet one while TSN’s main channel showed 2 American teams battling it out in the MLS. Do you think the Jays or Leafs restart would ever be on a Sports channel you have to pay extra for in this country ? It’s either TSN main channel, sportsnets main channel or CBC which is nationwide. They would never throw them on sportsnet one but we love calling out ESPN (a channel we don’t even get in this country) for not giving us attention. Dude the leafs scrimmage game was on a main networt But but but “ESPN don’t respect the raptors” smh Buddy Canadian networks don’t respect the raptors, TSN and Sportsnet don’t even respect the Raptors. No way an American sports network from a city that Just won a championships is going to throw their teams restart game vs Lebron and the Lakers on a channel a large number of their viewers don’t have “but but but ESPN” “ESPN don’t respect us” smh When are these same people going to start calling out the old heads over at TSN and sportsnet instead of worrying about a network outside this country that they can’t even see on their TV anyways ?

Those canadian media outlets got sucked into massive overpay by the NHL for TV deal... so now they gotta pump....

I wish CTV was still doing the game’s. The days of
John Saunders and Leo were great childhood memories. I mean even Rod Black’s jokes didn’t seem as corny back then. CTV games were nationwide coverage on basic cable, on the cheapest cable plan.

This is a hilarious response, ok they had some missed open 3s (Danny green) but the Raptors are the number 1 defense for 3pt percentage this year. We run people off the line or make them take contested looks after being hounded all possession.

To think that you just have to hit shots rather than, maybe taking better shots or not turning down shots (AD I'm looking at you) is great
