Clippers Tell Montrezl Harrell To Take His Time Grieving Grandmother's Passing

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Aug 2, 2020 2:55 am

Montrezl Harrell left the Los Angeles clippers on July 17th for an excused family emergency that he's revealed as the passing of his grandmother.

Doc Rivers has told Harrell to take as much time as he needs.

"From others, I get asked from inside like, when is Trez coming back and my answer's been the same," Rivers said before the Clippers' 126-103 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. "When he's ready, he'll come back. You can't play if you're not right mentally and because of the emotional part of it. ... His grandmother is very tight with him so all I told him is I love him and take your time. We'll be ready with open arms when you come."

The Clippers are also currently without Lou Williams.

That;s great that the team has rallied around this guy during his time of grief, I wonder if Lou Williams told him about a great place to get wings?

A few days is plenty for a grandmother. Get back to work.

WARNING: Baiting
Under the best circumstances, this post would be very offensive; given the current milieu, it's impossible to not see it as bait. Knock it off.

My employer was asking me when I would be back two days after my grandfather's passing. Good on the Clippers. Losing a grandparent, especially one you're close to is often times almost or just as tough as losing a parent.
