I thik we have a decent shot in a series against anyone in the east. Let's just hope we get off to a better start than last time. That was kind of lost in all the Tatum shot so poorly narrative last game. We have 3 20 a game scorers and Smart and Hayward can easily get 20+ too so having one guy play awful isn't the end of the world. Going down 17-zip to start a game is pretty hard to come back from (and we almost did.) I get we are not going to start Smart (my opinion our best player) but if things start poorly he should sub in faster than normal.

Not gonna lie, I straight up want to lose this game for the Memphis pick. Want to see the starters play well in limited minutes, then see the bench fight valiantly against Portland's starters, but lose at the buzzer.

Just can't bring myself to care about standings at all. As long as guys look good, let's keep the minutes low and be strong and healthy headed into the playoffs.

That is a conflict but because of the "Zion rule" the 9th seed will face the 8th seed in a playoff if they're 4 games or less behind.

So we should get a playoff regardless.

After being pushed around like little children by the Greek Freak all game long and Tatum going what 1-18 in reality... I think this team needs to show it has life more than anything else.

9th seed has to win two games over the 8th seed, whereas the 8th seed only has to win one, right?

So, getting POR past MEM would still improve our odds of jumping from #17 to #14 pretty significantly.
