Petition to close the "what happened to Tatum in the Bucks game" thread. We have our answer.

Not impressed by Portland at all...

Too many mismatches on offense for Portland to defend. Brown on Melo and Hayward on Collins is just a crime

The Celtics defense has been effing insane.

Smart is dominating this game, without shooting the ball.

Keep taking that corner three Semi, until you make it reliably, or you're off the team. The story of your NBA career depends on it, so just keep taking it.

Brad might've gotten pissed the Jays got backcut twice and called a timeout lol.

Smart does not get the credit he deserves for his offensive development. Not just the three-point shot, which has really come around, but the handle, the playmaking, the vision.

I feel like our entire strategy is to force the ball into Melo's hand and then have Brown, Tatum, Semi eat him alive with their defense haha.

Good timeout by Brad. Getting a bit sloppy defensively last couple of possessions. Also I’m LOVING how good Kemba looks. Happy, full of energy and with a pep in his step.

I told yall, lads, I don't care too much about games outside of our guys getting into game shape.

As previously noted, Tatum looks pissed cause of last game and the Blazers are getting it.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

And the old Marcus would have tried to force shots in the very next game after having a high scoring output. He hasn't done that at all. He isn't forcing anything and making the right plays. He's just getting better and better. Can't wait to see him in the playoffs.

IMO he's clearly a starting caliber player.

I'm a devout "Smart hater" but this may be the best half of basketball I've seen him play. Normally he looks completely out of control to me and just refuses to make the pass right into the player's pocket.

His passes have all been on point and I haven't seen ISO Smart at all so far. Looks like it's actually all in the flow of the offense.

Credit where credit is due.
