Finally finished my Devin Vassell scouting breakdown. I can’t explain how fun it is watching him play defense. He’s so damn good. One on one and as a team defender. He’s the only prospect that made me start his video with their defense. As a whole he truly reminds me of a modern version of Luol Deng. Where that ranks him as a prospect in this draft is up for debate, but he’s one of the safest dudes in the draft.

Great video. Reminds me a lot of Otto Porter. Will be a great glue player. High IQ. Valuable 3D player that will make his team better.

This hurts me. I really like both players, but they're going to have a bigger role for both teams. Depending on how it goes I cans see both rising next year. Although itll be a stronger draft next year.

He’s a good shooter, but I cannot see Petty making the league. Just has a bad feel for the game and even when he’s trying he’s a bad defender. He’s a good college player, I just don’t see it translating at all. Like Grayson Allen is a bad defender, Petty is worse.
