We should be cheering for Memphis but I hope they keep that losing streak going. Pels already lost 2 and will probably lose 3-4 out of their remaining 6 games. It's a long shot but memphis going 1-7 or 0-8 would be fantastic for us.

It would. I can see us sliding to 8th and Spurs sliding to 9th. I have a hard time seeing them out of the "wild card game" considering they have the best coach out of all the teams fighting for the 8th seed.

Not great result for us here unless Memphis really slides and Pels drop a game vs the kings. Pels could easily win out with that schedule

Idk. We only need them to lose one more game and I see losses vs the Magic and Spurs.

Definitely need them to lose to Orlando, as a Spurs win doesn't help us much either haha

Honestly though all the scenarios are irrelevant if we don't go 8-0 so just 1 game at a time

That is true. I'm cheering more for a Memphis choke since that would open the door for 8th or 9th seed even more.

The Grizzlies have Utah, OKC, Tor, Bos, and the Bucks left. They could very easily go 0-8 and miss this whole thing.

I really hope those eastern teams don’t rest their players and take the night off when they play them!

Grizzlies collapsing wouldn't be too surprising considering their schedule and how they've looked thus far. Jazz are still are solid team, and they close out with Thunder, Raptors, Sixers, and Bucks.

Pelicans have the best shot with their remaining schedule. Spurs and Blazers have played well but their schedules aren't cakewalks. We'll see with the Kings, but they haven't looked good so far. I'm hopeful for us, but we have an uphill battle with our schedule. Encouraging that we've gotten wins without particularly good games from Booker, Ayton, or Bridges though.

No there isn't. If they fall outta 8th the fans vote and decide on NBA.com who is more worthy of the 8th seed between Kings, Blazers, Spurs, Suns or Pelicans.
