4 more outs to be in line for the win!

But I think he must be dang close to 75 pitches.

Started the 5th with like 58 pitches, so if he can put up a quick inning, he might be able to pitch the 6th too.

yeah one encouraging bit despite him giving up some runs is that hes been very very efficient.

Yeah and he should be up 4-2 if not for the error.

his fastball touched 90 earlier in the game and thru innings 1-3 he was upper 80s consistently, but right now hes in the mid 80s.

(for anyone who was interested.)

edit: great, now hes throwing upper 80s again against phillips.

if the 75 pitch count is really in effect, this will probably be his last inning

He got through and I think he looked pretty strong. He hit upper 80's and had a lot of life on his changeup.

Very encouraging.

He can only get sharper from here and he was not bad, not bad at all.

He's in line for the win if we can pad a few more runs on.

I'm sure that's his last inning.

If this is the Pedro we will see the rest of the way, our rotation is going to be sick. Facing a good offense in a hitters park and only giving up 2 earned after missing as much time as he has is great.

green comes thru...

this guy sleepwalks through games when we're up a bunch or down a bunch. but it seems like in close games he always comes up with a big hit.

Attaboy Ruben! Another clutch hit. Pedro's W just got a lot more likely (knock on wood).

Phillies losing.

We're just pounding good pitching now. First the Braves duo, now Harang.
