Why?

It can be a self policing mechanism for bad predictions. I really dont get the reasoning behind the rule.

It is up to the Moderators of that particular Forum if a certain old topic can be bumped.

Is there a way to bring back the oldest of threads?

I suggest old threads could be placed into their own forum so as to avoid confusing folks when there's a bump. Maybe threads could be shifted after one year or at the turn of a calendar year.

Some users would appreciate this I believe.

If someone wants an old thread bumped, they could always contact a Moderator of that particular forum and ask.

It's something we can consider in the future but for now, I'll leave it up to The Moderators.

Thank you for the suggestion.
