Based on how things are going Portland looks like the clear best team of the group, with Phoenix and SAS behind. NOLA might slide into the play in game based on standings and schedule though.

I'm kind of rooting for the Suns now a little more every day. Memphis losing JJJ really hurts.

I'll always root for melo and it's cool to see nurkic/collins back so i'm in on the blazers. I do think the spurs making it would be hilarious tho. Suns have been fun too. That JJJ injury is a shame.

Nurkic is such a game changer for the Blazers. Thanks to him I think Portland is definitely the toughest possible out for us in round 1, so I'm rooting for the Grizz to hold on for dear life and make it through.

It's crazy that the Pelicans are most likely not gonna make it and they even did all these extra games almost exclusively for Zion.

Man OKC being #6 in the west with this level of wing "talent" is an absurd accomplishment.

Haha, mid year i've made a post about how Ferguson, Diallo, Dort, Bazley is probably the most offensively putrid wing rotation in the league... And now Roberson is back too... Makes Gallo all that much important on this team.

Seriously, if Laker fans think Kuzma is frustrating offensively, they need to watch any of the aforementioned dudes... Just zero skills on offense.

The roster is also devoid of shooting... Gallo is the only legit 3pt shooter. No big men that space the floor, unless you wanna count Muscala. Paul, Schroeder (who's somehow having a career year from three, probably because he's not having to do everything like he did in ATL) and SGA can hit them at a decent clip, but aren't really natural shooters... The rest are ouright horrible.

It's scary how well PG is playing right now.

Denver should offer MPJ for Beal as soon as their season ends.

Washington says no. I think most Gms still do. His injury issues are hereditary. Think its just a matter of time unfortunately

Rip the pelicans season

Seeing a second year zions gonna be fun though, if he gets that duke athleticism back. Hes defense is like beyond trash atm but hes probably the rookie furthest from his potential atm. I dont think hes looked different in the bubble than in the season despite what the media is saying and his plus minus being really bad so far, but hes not as strong as he was before because he slimmed down but hes looked quicker. He doesnt look as good attacking big men, since he doesnt seem thaaat much stronger than them anym (although still way stronger) but hes looked more dominant against wings and 4s. His touch on "easy" layups hasnt really been there but hes touch on the hard ones is about the same

Still though, 29ppg per 36 mins with alot of his points coming from isos and post ups, more than youd expect at least, is pretty good considering ingrams still the first option. His faceup games probably looked better in the bubble although not as good as it did in duke, but his post up game looks worse because his strength is lower. Also without fans he isnt really going for flashy dunks anym sadly :/. Idk if his skillset will look different next year but i expect him to be less strong but quicker or more explosive, like duke zion i guess

Idk if thats a better or worse nba player but i think thats what we'll be seeing. He'll prolly have a better faceup game and be smarter on D too. Even in duke his feet had these weird quick cinderblock feel to them which i feel is partially why he seems so explosive

Perfectly sums up both Paul and Butler.

So since Giannis got suspended for 1 game, will this be the first time the MVP has been suspended for flagrant conduct during the season?

Honestly have no idea when the last time this could have happened, maybe Kareem or something?

So Stevens has signed an extension. He’s been seen as( and is) a brilliant coach his whole career bar last year. Not the best look for Kyrie.
