Build a Franchise Season 4 Offseason

A lot of people are saying this is like the Jordan draft where Ayton was picked #1 like Hakeem over Jordan/Luka and Bagley is basically Sam Bowie. Kinda seems spot on to me lol

That sounds right. Can't be mad about taking Ayton. He is nice. A lot of people got tripped up on Luka confusing him with undeveloped international prospects. He was already there.

If there’s a player I’m truly eating crow on in that draft though it’s definitely Trae Young. I really thought he was gonna bust

I didn't know what to think about Young and sort of avoided conversations about him. There was a lot to be excited about and a lot to be concerned about. I felt like he would figure out the shot selection thing with better teammates. I'm more impressed that he cut down on his turnovers.

Same re Trae - there was a lot of Talk ot the Knicks wanting him pre draft, but of course we weren't in a position to take him. I didn't watch him enough to make a call one way or the other, and didn't scout him much either. I far underrated him.

Now I just want Pooch to trade him to me for Richardson. Trae just wants an extension.

Just realized we led BAF in offense for two years straight . Not easy to do, and our defense vastly improved in year two. This coming season though we’ll look to step it up even more defensively.

I honestly am pretty far back on this year's draft as I traded out of it. I've watched very little tape on Wiseman. The little he played, he wasn't in a position where he had to show more than physical dominance.

Im buying into Wiseman's potential on offense. This is some scary schit Pretty intrigued by a Wiseman and Mitch frontcourt. Put Randle back as a 6th man.
