But this isn't a Bamba situation where the guy is all physical gifts and no basketball skill. Poku is very skilled, he just has a woefully underdeveloped body that may take years.
He's the definition of two years away from being two years away. It's absolutely possible that whoever drafts him doesn't see a significant return on their investment until the end of his rookie contract.

Depends where you play him. I think he has the skills to play the 3 off the bench early in his career as his body fills out. His height and length would help make up for his speed and agility. Offensively, he could be a 7ft point forward at SF. Clifford knows how to use a guy like that, since he saw what SVG did with Turkoglu.
Once his strength comes in, he might become a PF or C, depending on the rest of the team's makeup.
If he's incapable of playing any position, the team could red shirt him for his first season and have him focus strictly on adding weight, strength and conditioning. They've more or less done that with Isaac, Bamba and Okeke, even if the first two were sidelined due to injury.

Draft and Stash? He is an intriguing pick because he would be a prospect that would kinda be a reverse of our sort of "draft style"...we tend to pick prospects that have all the measurables but lacking in skills that WE have to teach them....this kid has measurables AND Skills that we would only have to sharpen NOT teach....though picking him would be the team waiving the white flag on Bamba though

Would have little to do with Bamba. This guy would play SF if we drafted him. It would take forever for him to bulk up to play in the frontcourt, but on the wing, it doesn't even matter one bit. He has the ballhandling and mobility so SF works. That's the position his current coach had set up for him. If WeHam wants a long line up, that's how you play them. SF Poku / PF Isaac / C Bamba
He's also not a stash guy. He wants to come over. I think he''s gonna be a top 10 pick though, so don't get your hopes up too much. You can learn more about him in the NBA Draft forum.

he's a 7 footer and from what i've seen he's slower than JI and AG....don't know about SF, that might work in Greece's second division but PF/C i definitely see in the NBA...i might be wrong though but i'm just going off what i saw on film....he does have SF skill and such a great foundation to build off? anyone would be happy with this pick
KillMonger wrote:If we're staying where we're at Kira Lewis Jr. is the still my pick at the moment.....i'm not locking that in yet but i would pick him at 15....That speed is too enticing for me to pass up....plus he can actually shoot....you can't press up on him he'll go right by you and you can't sag off on him as he's a decent shooter...He was a tough cover in college, you bring him to the wide open spaces of the NBA? He might be sort of a sleeper, not many people talking about him.....An almost 40 point game, a few 30 point games more than a few 20 point games...the kid is a bucket and he's not a liability on defense, plus he's a 19 year old sophmore which is still younger than quite a few of guards in this draft....He should be a strong candidate at 15 imo
nobody can stay in front of this kid...if he has a step on you it's GG

Tpe + Edwards for AG+16
2021 2022 lineup
Fultz
Edwards, ross
Chuma
Isaac, chief
Mo
By summer 2021
Evan s contract (Gordon s too as he would have been traded) will be off our books, making us a big FA destination
Vuc would be a huge trading chip
Go magic

I love all of this.
I just don't think any of it is true.
