Interesting game vs Spurs which playing without Aldridge, but was much more motivated to win this game after obvious Memphis struggle (+ they just lose JJJ for the rest of the season).
MPJ is today "player to watch" for all NBA fans, not just Nuggets.
Three Nuggets starters will not play once again, so Spurs are not without chances today.

Grant's shooting off this game too, not helping his future contract status...but may help ours

Torrey Craig is so one-dimensional, even TR Dunn shoots/shot better than he does....and honestly not convinced he does that one thing well. Guess he's better than GHarris right now, at least he's on the court.

SAS shooting 44% from 3-pt range, we're hitting 26%....hmmmm ?

Great 18-6 start with MPJ scoring fast 3-3 threes, but we give them chance to fight-back already at the 1st quarter, so somehow they even lead now on halftime. The offense is good today in 1st half, but defense is weak.

Man, I think I have finally found my voice, yesterday I complain about Morris at the half, he comes out to score 17 in the 2nd half.
Grant gets called out today, 22 pt game. Same with Jokic, I bring up his mediocre play in the 1st half, he steams out in the 2nd half to provide a cricial win !!... They must check my posts here !!!! YEESSSS
Enough about me, great win, MPJ another great performance 30/15 is post-worthy, double-double for Jokic, Grant steps up for 22. Still need to work on our 3-pt shooting but now we're just 1/2 game behind the LAC for the 2nd seed.

The star is born!
OK, we know it already on the day of the draft, but now it is official, with 30-15 and 37-12 games back-to-back with awesome percentages (including 9-15 for 3pt). And he is obviously super-healthy and fit if Malone gives him to play over 35 minutes both times.
Jokic has a strange game with just one single defensive rebound (+3 offR), but nobody should complain... he finished with 25+ points and 10+ assists, and his late 3rd quarter 3 threes in just 2 minutes were probably the key moment of the game.
When Murray and Harris are out (Beasley too
) Morris is our temporarily 3rd most important player, so it is great to see him playing so well once again in his upgraded role.
Grant was bad last game, but our best player vs Miami, so with today 22p it is great to see.
Special credit to PJ Dozier for 12-5-8 all-around game today, and to the whole team for finally improving 3pt shooting today in 2nd half.

Without Murray, there is an interesting two man game developing between Jokic and MPJ. They were looking for each other on the perimeter while Millsap camped out near the basket.
Can't wait for Murray to get back, this is going to be fun.

Canned in Denver.

Porter - wow!
Millsap - not too many minutes (see Porter? see also Grant?)
Plumlee - not too many minutes (see Porter? see also Grant?)
Jokic - does what is needed - frustrates me because he could do so much more - but then he wouldn't be making everyone else so much better - so ... LOVE this guy - still the KEY
Morris - always quiet but does his job
Dozier - pretty nice game --- 12 pts w/5 boards & 8 assists and a couple of nice defensive plays
Craig - not a great game - looked like a 9th man/spot player
Anyone else thinking Barton just became our 6th man? --- Always loved him in that role.
