My Preview:
Tonight's matchup brings in the defending champs, the Toronto Raptors who have been on a tear and currently sport a 6 game winning streak against the Orlando Magic who are the designated home team in this matchup in the bubble. In Orlando's last contest, they were blitzed by the Indiana Pacers in the 1st quarter and never recovered and ended up losing 109-120. Still suffering from the loss of Jonathan Isaac due to a season ending ACL tear, the Magic are going to have to learn some resiliency and play much more inspired than they did against the Pacers if they want to regain the 7th seed which currently belongs to the Brooklyn Nets.
For the Raptors, they have come into this bubble on a mission and remain as one of three teams to be undefeated in bubble play (Phoenix and Indiana are the other teams sporting 3-0 records respectively). Their last game against the Lakers was a picture perfect display of championship grit and toughness as their defense bothered the Lakers throughout that contest. Even though they no longer have Kawhi Leonard's star power and Danny Green's toughness on their team, they have managed to still be as lethal as ever largely due to the continued rise of Pascal Siakam and their balanced roster. This will be an even harder contest for the Magic then the Pacers were.
