The Magic would like to thank Jimmy Butler for his year of service to the franchise. His locker room leadership will be missed but time to go in a different direction.

TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Orlando Magic have agreed to trade Jimmy Butler and Ivica Zubac to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Mike Conley, Dario Saric, Collin Sexton, Ersan Ilyasova, a 2022 2nd round draft pick (From Chicago) and a 2022 2nd round draft pick (From Dallas).

I really love this deal for Orlando. That is a great haul for Butler. And looking forward to seeing what NewEra does going forward.

Ben Simmons is out indefinitely with a subluxation of his left knee cap. An MRI showed no ligament damage to the knee.

Treatment options are being considered, according to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Simmons was recovering from a bad back when the NBA's season was suspended.

What is kneecap subluxation? A subluxing patella (kneecap) is a temporary, partial dislocation of the kneecap from its normal position in the groove in the end of the thigh bone (femur). This groove is located between two bumps at the end of the thigh bone called the femoral condyles.
