Are you saying you dont understand the nutrional plans of anyone adding mass ? It is perfectly reasonable to think that is exaclty what he is doing. It is not like they are making th eplayoffs anyway. imo it is also obvious that he is having some sort of unusal breathing issue, for all we know it could be malaria but the odds are significantly higher its a virus that is easily spread and has been deemed bad enough to call it a world wide Pandemic of epic proportions which is rivaling any in human history oh and he left the bubble so there is that

Why the hell would Zion try to bulk? He's already too big. If your theory was correct, which I suspect it isn't, it's remarkably stupid of him.

he was/is a top 20 player this season.

You don't reach top 20 status in 19 games. Lol at the "is." I don't know what you're looking at if you think he's a top 20 player right now.

24 PER, 24 ppg on 62% TS. there are about 3 guys in the league who can match his combination of scoring and efficiency.

I dont know how anyone could watch today's game and say Zion played good defense. Everyone especially Zion played horrible defense.

his defense was good. he had two plays, one where jeffries took him back door for an easy lob and one where - i believe it was bazemore who took him to the hoop, other than those two plays, he was solid.

i probably watched 20 of his 22 minutes, so it's possible i missed a couple.

food for thought: pelicans are 11-7 when Zion plays 25+ minutes. 0-5 when he plays less than 25 minutes. 18-32 overall when he doesn't play at least 25 minutes - this would include games he doesn't play at all of course.

the lesson: not only is zion producing like almost no rookie ever, his team is a lot better when he plays.

No one even including Jrue and Favors played good help defense today. Zion's help defense was horrible today.

Holy cow. He moves great for his weight.

How is it that he can dunk though? He doesn't look that tall.

Edit: Nevermind. Turns out he was 6'10" but it's still very impressive. Also RIP.

That's Mark Jackson's brother and I could have sworn that he was 6'7 but they do have him listed as 6'10

zion is like shaq on the offensive end for the most part. But his defense is dog $h1t.

The big picture here is that there is no way he can sustain playing at this weight. Its nice that he has played like this in 4 games. You really think he could play an 82 game series without blowing a knee at 300+lbs? Its ridiculous
