Jordan and Wade are 1A and 1B.

Young Melo had an incredible first step. So does James Harden. Kevin Johnson. Young LeBron was incredible too, let’s not forget about him.

I don’t remember Penny having an particularly quick first step. Maybe it’s the memory of watching him play against the Bulls elite defense that skews my view but as far as I can remember he would not really break down the defense off his acceleration but he was more of a flow player when he wasn’t running in transition (where he was electrifying).

I dont know if it has more to do with his hesitation and ball fakes, but Morant can blow by people in an flash
