Memphis starters from 3 -

3-14 vs Jazz -
6-31 vs Pelicans -
5-19 vs Spurs - 2pt loss
11-35 vs Portland - OT loss

Vs OKC, 7-19 from 3, no surprise Jonas & Ja were more effective in this match. Didn't hurt either that OKC were missing their backup PG.

A good portion of Memphis misses from 3 were open to wide open looks. Those teams weren't shutting Memphis down defensively, they were out right missing good looks.

vs Pelicans, Memphis were +3 from 3 on 14 more attempts. Difference of 13 additional possessions in a 10 point loss.

vs Portland, Memphis were even from 3 on 11 more attempts. Difference of 11 additional possessions in a OT loss.

vs Spurs, Memphis were -15 from 3 on 1 additional attempt. Difference of 6 additional possessions in a 2pt loss.

vs Jazz , Memphis were -21 from 3 on 14 less attempts. Jazz won by 9pts shooting 40+ % from 3 on volume.

vs OKC, Memphis were -6 from 3 on 10 less attempts. Difference of negative 8 possessions in a blow out win.

Long story short. If Memphis weren't missing their open to wide open looks from 3, they could have just as easily been 5-0 in stead of 1-4 in the bubble despite missing 2 starters & their backup pg.

Making wide open 3's, having Tyus, maybe even having Winslow, Dillon making better decisions, there are quite a few potential things that could have swung our record to 5-0. Luckily we still have a shot at keeping the 8th seed heading into the playin game. Too bad JJJ is out.

There is some speculation that there is something off with Ja due to him playing at a slightly less spectacular level than he has been. Some of the local radio guys were saying they think there is a minor injury. I think it also could just be because of the load he has had thrust upon him. He is pretty much our entire offense and it's got to be exhausting with the increased minuts.
