This game is a complete farce right now. Should have just rested everyone if this was the "effort" they were going to put in tonight. Playing down to the worst teams on the schedule is REALLY getting old. Do they realize the 2nd seed isn't locked up yet? :noway:

I didn't know the Nets were Houston east. They're just chucking 3's

I hate this is what most of the league has become

Agreed, but I hate our three-point "defense" even more. This isn't the first time we've had to see a shooting performance like this against us this season. It's actually infuriating how bad the effort is with seeding on the line.

Granted they've made some or 3's but they've also had players you've never heard of hitting contested 3's as well. Sometimes teams are just hot and there's nothing you can do about it. And I believe the Clippers led the league in 3 point defense percentage allowed so the defense isn't bad on 3's. Just have games like this and the Minnesota game. But we're only down 9 and they hit 13 threes in the first half...lol

Reggie needs to sit for the second half. He's been our biggest issue this game.

Kawhi never panics. Keeps an even keel and catch them in winning time. [If he plays that long tonight.]

Clippers have a very odd approach to clinching the 2nd spot, almost like they wouldn't mind sinking to 3rd and facing the Jazz. Regardless, if we beat the Nugs on Wednesday it's almost certainly moot.

Unless PG's nicked up and needs the time off... :o

ADD: Kawhi 8 points in the first minute of the 2nd half. Dude is sick.

Kawhi is in full MVP carry mode right now. Always fun to watch him go to work.

This is some prime LeBron type of stuff right here:

Getting a glimpse of playoff Kawhi. If he and George are clicking during the playoffs, good luck to the rest of the league...lol

Bench Reggie now before he finishes erasing everything Kawhi just did.

Mann is honestly better than Shamet at this point, which is shocking.

Doc is now coaching this game away with his dumbass rotations. OF COURSE we're going to make things harder for ourselves seeding-wise, that's just what Doc's teams always do. :banghead:

When we're being dragged to Game 7 by the Thunder in the first round while the other contenders have easy series, games like this, the Timberwolves loss, the Kings loss, the Hawks loss, the Suns losses, etc. will be why.

120 points and counting from a glorified G-League team. "Clamp City," what a joke.

Dude, are you serious?? Lol First of all, there is no scenario where the Clippers would play the Thunder in the first round. Second, we happen to have a couple of decent NBA players not playing this game

Jazz, not Thunder, my bad. And while I know we're missing some players, just look at all the players the Nets are missing. This isn't excusable and there's been way too many games like it this year.

The Nets couldn't miss that first quarter, that's the difference in this game, nothing more, nothing less. Oh and Shamet was ass tonight and he played a lot of minutes while Lou is still on a minutes restriction. All the Clippers have to do to lock in 2nd is beat Denver. And whoever is at 2 is playing the Mavs, not Utah

GG

I thought the first quarter is the reason we lost. The team played like crap, but kawhi kept the team in the game. Thankfully, we won't see Mcgruder, mannn much in the playoffs. So they got the mins they need.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
