PHI vs POR gigantic game tonight.

POR win brings them within 1/2 game of MEM, and brings PHI one step closer to locking in 6th seed (I'm respecting MIA more these days than PHI).

Edit: whoops, forgot about IND. Hmmm...

Philly looking kind of like a modern offense out there, without Simmons and Embiid.

Two 1st round matchups are now set: (1) Bucks vs. (8) Magic; (2) Raptors vs. (7) Nets. Lakers waiting for their 8th seed opponent. Celtics waiting for their 6th seed opponent. Everything else still up in the air.

I suppose that does keep an element of mystery alive for the remaining seed games

It’s pretty much set in the East. Especially if sixers lose to the Suns and assuming embiid doesn’t bothering playing till the playoffs start

Celtics/sixers
Pacers/heat

Sixers would need to win all 3 games or have Miami OR Indiana lose all 3 games since pacers/heat own tiebreakers.

And Miami/Indiana play each other twice.

Chances that sixers win all 3 are slim to none.

If Washington nabs a center in this draft think that Bryant becomes available?

ever since that dumb article about the cavs thinking they have the assets to trade for Simmons I've been looking for a good trade from the sixers standpoint for him. I realized with covid and drop in cap and tax, the Sixers are very.... stuck.. screwed? I don't know but they are at 147m next year with no picks or free agents added. That's ok if you are a top 2 team. How long can the sixers ownership keep that up without another rebuild?

I’m sure Philly will suddenly become a pain the ass and capable once we face them in a series. Smashing them again would feel real nice though.

I'm sure but Horford is 1 year older and they have 147m salaries and 11 players. you would think something has got to give

50-40-90 20-pt scorers in NBA history: Steph Curry (2016), Larry Bird (1986, 1987), Kevin Durant (2013), Dirk Nowitzki (2007).

Khris Middeton on the verge of joining that exclusive list. Just needs to make 6/10 (or better) from the field tonight then sit the next two games.

Who you all rooting for in MIA/IND double death match games?
I can't say, since I suck at this and my favorites lose when I speak my preference into existence.

Really wish the Celtics had moved up to draft MPJ. I wanted him so bad at the time as I thought he would definitely been worth the risk.

This is corny and unnecessary. I nominate Semi Ojeleye for Bubble Games Player of the Year.

Just enjoy the 17th pick we give y'all in this weak draft and be thankful...lol

Oh, it's happening. As a matter of fact, y'all might not even make it to that play-in game.

Dame doesn't want to go home. INSANE. 61 points. That bounce on the last three was unreal.
