Speak for yourself. I'm elated with what the Suns have shown and while I'd like to see them make it I won't be that disappointed if they don't.

It's still a young team and while it would be great to get them some playoff experience I feel like them just missing out may fire up most of the squad to push all that much harder in developing their games and being more focused for the whole season.

Currently...
Blazers 34-39
Grizzlies 33-39
Suns 33-39

If Blazers lose their next game against the Nets they are 34-40, and if Suns/Grizzlies win they'll be 34-39, which is a better win % than the Blazers.

Correct. We're ostensibly tied still. One team loses, they are out. All win, we are out.

Mavs will be benching Luka and KP. I'm not worried about our 8-0. But that is 2 games to give us a chance, and Memphis ain't nuthin

Yeah other than a major injury against Dallas no matter what else happens this will have been a very positive experience for this team and something to build on for next year.

We will be playing the Mavs reserves and Memphis can lose to anyone.

Portland losing to the nets would of course also be good, but not necessary, correct?

Even we make the play in game how exactly are we going to contain Lillard? Bridges is cute but Lillard will est him alive. He's a scoring assassin.

Not saying he didn't have an amazing game, and not saying you're wrong. But 24 of those were KP not playing literally any defense at all.

Ugh why is Giannis even playing in this game? They couldn't have saved him for the Memphis game??

Better FT shooter than LeBron though.

If LeBron doesnt address his FT shooting, he will never be on the same level as Kobe or Luka.

Our bed was made in the regular season where we didn't get it done so we put ourselves in this position where even if we go 8-0 we could still miss the playoffs. Going 8-0 is the only thing under our control and the team knew that going into the bubble.

He'd probably sit that last game out anyway. What an idiot though. Playing washington and potentially getting suspended for playoff games....

Yes

But he's also one reason why we made the bubble and we're 7-0 right now

For better or worse Ayton's development is what will determine this team's ceiling but if the team falls 1 game short of the playoffs then everyone on the team should be looking at themselves and think about what they could have done better and what they need to improve over the next break.

I'm pissed at Ayton the most for not peeing in a cup right. That cost us at least 5 games.

This logic doesn't hold for me. In a regular 82 game season we'd have turned it around in time. This BS shortened format is what did us in. The league should have had a rule in place that you can't go undefeated and be kicked out, to make up for the lost games/chances to make up ground.

Dame himself said he didnt want to play unless he had something to play for. Now he's about to benefit from a system that clearly didnt give one team any chance when it goes 8-0 and gets left out.

Ayton has cost the team wins without doubt, probably the most. But he was certainly not the only one, just read through the old game threads. If one game is missing, several guys need to reconsider their decisions and reflect on their part in this shortcoming.

Adjust that bubble to Memphis vs Phx final game.
Saric imo played himself right into a contract in Phx.

Frank and baynes probably gone

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Need to beat Dallas. That's all I'm going to worry about. Whatever else happens, happens.
