Seeds don't matter in the bubble really. That's why I laugh at Laker fans puffing their chest out over being the 1 seed. THERE IS NO HOME COURT so this will come down to who the best team is. And when healthy, there's not a better roster than the Clippers top to bottom. If healthy, I don't see any team that can beat them honestly.

Matchups still matter, bubble or no bubble. I don't really want to sit through a slog of a first-round series like the Lob City days if it can be avoided just by taking care of business in winnable games.

I still like the Clippers chances against any team. In the west there are no easy series so it is what it is. Again, if healthy I don't see any team beating them

Damn, I hated rooting for the Lakers but in taking down the Nugs for us, the Clips only have to beat either Denver OR the Okies in our 2 remaining games to clinch the #2.

There's also a chance the Jazz will fall to #7 after losing to the Mavs today, and the Salt Lake paper thinks they're trying to do just that to avoid Houston.

The smart play at this point would be to throw the Denver game and go all out against OKC. Keep the Rockets away from that 3 seed.

Good point. I'd rather face any of the others too--although I'm not a fan of trying to second-guess the process. F*** around and we could still find ourselves at #4 and get the Lakers in the second round. [Houston has the tiebreaker on us.]

Denver sat Jokic and Murray for the last 15 minutes of the Laker game tonight. I have no idea what's going on. Do they really want the Lakers instead of us?

Harrell will have to quarantine for at least four days. The league has said quarantine for those who leave the bubble can last as much as 10 days or more if those individuals are not tested daily while they are away.

We clinched a top the seed with kawhi Lisa's managing. That's great but I don't think the core plays after clinching

Laker fans moralizing about "playing the right way" will never not be hilarious. Were the Lakers playing the right way when they tampered with AD? Or when the refs carried them past the Kings in the WCF? Or when Magic threatened to stay in school if the Bulls won the #1 pick?

To be fair, you were right there with the lakers fans on this season. Not the load management part but that we were going to get the 4th or 5th seed. I'll be happy if the clippers win the championship to shut you the hell up.

I don't say that personally. You're a fan. I'm sure you're just passionate and mean well. But still.

I acknowledge the clippers have had problems this year. Let's just hope it clicks together.

Never get too low on the losses or too high on the wins. Keep it center.

Oh, I've definitely been worried about seeding, but not because of this bogus "load management" narrative that the media and Laker fans are obsessed with. The idea that the Clippers have cruised through this season could only come from people who haven't watched our games. Coaching, injuries and defense have been the real concerns all year, not "load management."

I'm not talking about that. I'm taking about what you said in the earlier part of the season that we weren't good enough to secure the second seed. You said we would end up getting the 4th or 5th seed. You made several posts like this through the course of the season.

Allow me to jog your memory:

These games count in the standings. When it's playoff time and we're stuck in the 4th seed again like the Lob City days, we'll be wishing that inexcusable losses like this one didn't happen.

The clippers were 7-5 at the time you posted this. 4th Seed bound with just 12 games in. Great prediction.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
