Images like the black guy smiling as he walked past a group of gun toting whites lined up on the side of the road in an act of intimidation will stick in the minds of suburban moms as much as any image of a burning building during the riots.

I think more people are fed up with gun proliferation and now people brandishing their weapons to intimidate than they are with a bunch of protestors marching through their suburban neighborhood chanting BLM.

School shootings and actual acts of domestic terrorism that are often racially driven are a bigger threat to most families than a congregation of people expressing their first amendment rights even if sometimes there are people who go too far. And most of those people have probably caught on that Antifa is a right wing propaganda slogan, not an actual insurrectionary force about to overthrow the government.

I trust enough Americans now understand that the real threat is going to come from fascists who will ruin this country if they consolidate power and turn the security state into a full-time shakedown operation of anyone who opposes them staying in power. Then it will be everyone in their rifle sights regardless of race or religion. It will be just Us vs. Them, Civilians vs. Rulers.

That's the greater threat and Trump has made it very clear that's what he stands for. He is the very definition of anti-Democracy so anyone who values their freedom and the right to vote in the future will be against Trump now. Trump mocks everything soldiers pledged their lives to defend so I expect a heavy showing of angry veterans at the polls this time.

Sadly, I don't disagree with you. I'm reminded every day of the failures of the American educational system to produce barely literate high school graduates.

But I've always said thank god Trump is this stupid, otherwise we'd be in even deeper trouble since it appears a lot of Americans are now conditioned to endorse authoritarian rule. The convergence of factors that resulted in this juncture of low info civilian docility happened to coincide with the ultimate con man being the front man for this chicanery. And that's the silver lining. He's so ludicrous that even some lesser intellects may finally grasp how inept and unsuited for governance he is.

But at the end of the day, America is a checkbook voting nation and Trump sabotaged the economy with his handling of the pandemic so all the stupid in the world could have still gotten him elected if he could have ridden the Obama recovery one more season into November. He is a world class loser with zero understanding of economics who was floated his whole career by Daddy, stiffing his creditors and getting bailed out by foreign puppet masters. Nobody is more ill-equipped to handle this mess than a fake billionaire who has a negative net asset to debt ratio.

The irony is if he would have just handled the lockdown properly we’d be out of it by now and the economy would be back and id think he’d win easily because as you said people vote with their pockets.

I think the reason he handled it lax especially early on was because it was just the democratic states that were being hit hard and he figured he could just blame the democratic governors in those states

You're probably correct about both points. It was leaked that Kushner said they didn't care because they thought it was just the blue states that were going to take the hit because NYC started as the epicenter. I mean, it is a virus, right, so that they would even think it wouldn't spread just shows how stupid these people actually are.

One question. We clashed over politics in the past. Correct me if I'm wrong, but were you not a Trump voter in 2016?

If so, did anything specific change your POV?

Your first paragraph nah, not a chance.

Second paragraph I think your suburban mom is way more interested in personal protection for their family than you think.

Third one, really? You think Antifa is nothing more than a right wing slogan? Who's burning down the buildings and destroying things then? There's like, photo evidence, indictments and stuff.

The fourth paragraph is pure projection. It was Trump that was attacked by security state fascists trying to consolidate their power in place of a duly elected president. I mean really now. You can agree with them if you want but how can you not see they did exactly what you accuse others of. That's hilarious.

Fifth paragraph, whatever.

I respond to you on occasion just to grease the wheels and keep the convo going, but this above response is why I only sometimes click the display button to see what someone on my ignore list is saying. I have to be honest, I've never found anything you have to say remotely grounded in reality and thus that interesting. I was told the same thing in 2016 when I said Trump was going to win, coworkers laughed and mocked and ridiculed me. So I said, let's bet on it. They did, later I laughed at them.

I'll never forget the stunned silence of bubble living people trying to make sense of reality. Sublime, an unbelievably delicious treat.

The top part is a judge of character mislapse, obviously happens to all of us.

She didn't recant any of the support for this at all. Doubled down on it instead of coming out and trying to unite people after a failed attempt to incite a race riot. She's a race baiter, not a uniter. Just like Trump.

Oh joy, the race baiters are out in force projecting their racism on to their opponents. Business as usual in Trumpland.

Twitter is bustling with Birtherism activity now that Harris is on the ticket. Good times

Her statement actually is factually irrelevant. What it is, is inflammatory and designed to enrage. Lynching in the streets of America (at least by two random white people in Chicago) being something to fear just isn't true. She was drooling at the prospect of this being true to perpetuate a false narrative that a black man is likely to be lynched by whites in the streets of Chicago when anyone who can do 1st grade math knows it isn't true. All to continue to deflect from real systemic problems, like the $13~ billion we spend on the DEA, like jailtime for minor drug offenses, like 8 year old black girls drowning in their own blood after being shot by other black people. She's a con artist just like Jussie, just like Trump.

Then when it appeared that whites weren't lynching people in the streets she came back with

"And it’s something we should all take seriously whenever anyone, um, alleges that kind of behavior, but there should be an investigation," Harris added. "And I think that once the investigation has concluded then we can all comment, but I’m not going to comment until I know the outcome of the investigation."

And of course nothing from her. She uses inflammatory language and rhetoric meant to enrage and divide, but doesn't show any sense of relief when it turns out to be a hoax. This is person she knew. Personally.

Personally.

According to Jussie the false criminals put a noose around his neck and attempted to hang him. So yes if what he said actually was true, that wouldve been a lynching. All that stuff after is just you reading what you want into the situation. At no point did she insinuate any of that.

So she called for an actual investigation? Are you sure that this isnt an undercover defense? Cuz you're making her looking better than I did. Thanks for that I reckon.

The DNC is so scared of AOC, it’s only giving her 1 minute to speak.

When there’s a civil war in the Democratic Party, don’t blame us bc clearly the DNC is playing games again in order to protect their fiefdom.

One minute? FOH

And I always suspected that anyone who call themselves BallSacBounce is, well, not someone whose opinion I need to take into consideration. I will now only read you if someone replies to you, but I won't respond any longer since it perpetuates you being seen by other people who have you on ignore. Enjoy your alternate reality. Say hi to Q

True but now we actually experienced the “real of the deal.” And it was pretty, pretty, pretty ugly. His complete bungling of his response to the virus, if nothing else, will sink his presidency. Also, he hasn’t accomplished very much of anything to help the middle class. His border wall is a waste of time and money and was done, like most things he pursues, just to soothe his fragile ego. Also the tax cut only served to line the pockets of the uber rich and corporations. Long Island middle class home owners got killed with his cut in the home mortgage interest deduction.

If you see an electoral path for Trump to re-election, then I’d love to it. But base it on solid poll numbers. Don’t come at me with. I Ben Shapiro BS.
