Last time we met in the postseason... we still had the Dancing Bear.

We're going to miss that atmosphere in TD Garden. :( Missing Baynes too. Philly has a dominant big inside but our team has more talent as a whole. They don't have enough to contain all three of our star wings even if they somehow slow down Kemba. Don't let them get hot from three. Force TOs, stay disciplined on defense, and run them to the ground. I wanna beat them in 5. Go Cs!

Celtics need to be heavy favorites here. Huge letdown if they lose this series with Simmons out and Embiid potentially banged up.

Well kiss my grits if it isn’t the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers

IT BEGINS ANEW
(they should start Al at PG he’s a good passer and dribbler!)

Goooood times man, that’s Peak Smart Experience to this point. Still kills me he hit a FT he was trying to miss, then stole the pass 75 feet away. After bodying up Saric, finding Tatum for the lead, and putting back Tatum’s blown bunny to tie the game.

I knew Embiid sucked when he couldn’t get a bucket down two with ten seconds there.

The Celtics should handedly win this series with how they been playing, how the Sixers been playing, the Sixers injuries etc...

Even with Simmons I think given how both teams have played in the bubble I would of liked our chances, which is a huge turnaround just 5 months ago.

LETS GO

The C's don't have a great answer for Embiid... but the Sixers don't have an answer for anyone on our entire damn team. Should be super fun.

I’d put money on Kanter having a game or two where he outplays Embiid.

I can’t see this going any longer than 6 games at max. 5 seems the most likely.

Embiid is awesome, and will put up some monster numbers. That said the Celtics have four of the five best players overall, and Tatum isn’t that far behind Embiid overall.

Celts in 5.

Co-signed. The one position they have an advantage is C and we have 3 guys to run him ragged and conceivably outscore him.

Their defense definitely takes a big step back without him on the flip side

Go up 2-0 and this team will fold. Gotta be ready to stomp them from minute 1.

Maybe I’m wrong but people are overrating Embiid in this series. Look at his playoffs stats the last 2 seasons he was very inefficient in both playoff runs.

Even with no Simmons I'm not a fan of this matchup. Not that Horford has played up to expectations this year but he and Embiid are going to cause issues for the Celtics.

I think the individual games will be harder than ppl think but celts in 6....let embiid score 40 a game shut down the others.

I was watching NBA TV the other night and McHale mentioned that he'd done some work with Embiid. Made me a little grumpy haha. Luckily even if Joel learned anything, he'll ignore it after he gasses out and start shooting dumb jumpers. He just lacks the conditioning, discipline and BBIQ to be as good of a player as he should be.

Celtics in 5 - possibly 6.
We looked **** awesome closing out in the Bubble.
We **** obliterated a very very good Raps team.
BUT BUT BUT -
Take NOTHING for granted.
Work hard.
Constant intensity on D.
Move the ball.
JT - JB - GH should dominate.
Cobra will cobra.
Hopefully, Kemba will be AS Kemba.
Throw DT, Enes & Timelord at Joel in waves. Frustrate him.

CELTICS!
Oorah!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.
