Today, I had some hopes.

I selfishly wanted a win because I love this squad, but I'm not mad one iota. I would have drawn up a play during a timeout but Jacque must have felt like give it to the hot hand. I didn't personally like the look, but if it were Dinwiddie, Kyrie, or Kevin and they miss I would have to live with it, too.

Caris showed out and is earning league wide respect. Hopefully he can continue his restart run and help the Nets not get swept by Toronto.

Anyway, great game and we competed hard against a super motivated team, even though we had nothing on the line. We can't complain and I think we can agree that its a great learning experience for this group. Levert with one hell of a performance despite the shot attempt at the end. Allen stepped up big time in the 2nd half and grabbed a lot of big rebounds. Tyler Johnson, TLC, and Rodi showed up to play. Proud of the team tonight.

I wish LeVert tried to get deeper into the paint on that last shot but I can't fault the effort. He was amazing today. Playoff intensity. Leading the team. Love to see it.

If anyone was doubting playoff atmosphere in the bubble, this game definitely proves its there.

I think our trapping defense would've worked better if we had a legit back up C. Nurkic and Whiteside FEASTED on Justin Anderson and Lance Thomas. No coincidence JA was a +16 in a 1 point game.

Dame is EASILY the best PG in the league. That logo 3 sheesh. That was basically half court. Then that steal on LeVert at the end. Straight up ripped my heart out.

Can you stop being so defensive and constantly throwing this out there every time he has a good game? It takes away from him doing well, it takes away from just enjoying what we saw, you’re labeling people as haters as if they don’t have legitimate reasons for feeling the way they do, and you act like this “proves” them wrong when it doesn’t.

Awesome game by the Nets n what should have been a meaningless game to them. I hope karma gets back to bite Budz’s team (Bucks) in the ass in round 2. They did the Suns dirty. Suns had a legit chance to win 10 straight to get in. ZERO chance Memphis wins 2 out of 2.

Lever will absolutely not be able to play the same game and get all those touches with KD and ESPECIALLY Kyrie dribble ISO heavy game for him to be as effective. You still would need to consider trading him for some elite 3 and D wing players that don’t need the ball. You have to understand the team dynamics of basketball and have some IQ to realize this for next year.
