They sure can QUIZ. Bucks are the kind of scum team that beats the hell out of poor Grizzlies even they have absolutely nothing to play for and starters sitting out.

I'm glad Bubble is working out for yall, but I will never forget/forgive NBA for ever so blatantly trying to take Memphis out of the playoffs. I know it's a business, but it's also not the WWE, a little subtlety was needed and hilariously lacking. SMDH QUIZ

It is also true that all they needed to do was win a couple games, but they couldn't because they suck. GG Memphis

Idk Iggs the NBA definitely tried to get the Pels in but Memphis losing nearly every game if definitely their fault. They’ve struggled ever since they made that trade with us.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

IIRC Crowder was the glue guy for that young team as he's been a nice addition for us. Then Bustise busted, then their 2nd best player got injured. They really don't have any business getting in at this point. Blazers or Suns will give Lakers all they can handle esp. without HCA. oof

Brooklyn's gonna be so good next season. The only issue is that KD, Kyrie, Dinwiddie and Levert all like the ball in their hands a lot. But having at least 2 of those on the court at all times is pretty tough.

Agreed Wilt. When we had both KZ and Bol, I felt like we had won the draft and the league was screwed long-term.

With injury concerns with all those guys they probably need em all tbh. With some luck they could be a trouble for the league.

I wished we could have patched it up with Mion but our hard line on players they never seem to recover from the dog house. Mion on this team would be absolutely ridiculous. Dunno if we would have survived a Koba, a Lebron, a Isaiah Thomas (pistons), A Rodman or any personality type that has moments where they dont fit in.

Heat only want Tim Duncan types that fit the system and dont complain. Then again arent we all waiting for the Mion move that will make us say , told ya so.
I agree that Spo is not great with complicated personalities. Which is Riley strength. But at the end of the day it was up to Dion. The heat gave him an opportunity to shine here that he wasn't gonna get anywhere else. He was gonna be a backup journeyman anywhere he went. He was never good enough and the team was not good enough to want to deal with his attitude. Dion attitude was a known problem before he got here.

Mccollum better patch up his back long enough to beat the Grizzlies. Take a page from Mike Miller or something.

I’m not sure that fair, at the end of the day it both sides. Seeing how Dion checked himself and is behaving so far would lead anyone to conclude he wanted to play and was making a good faith effort. Our culture is what it is, be it being a lottery team or a playoff team. For whatever reason he is blooming as a laker and would have been glued to the bench here. Maybe this is more locker room leadership issues, either way we need to look towards the future not the past.

Dion is who he is. He’s never been any different, as a personality or a player. If he was here, his numbers would look exactly the same.

He’s a low percentage bucket getter. Some days he’s red hot and others he’s ice cold.

If he was here, he’d be taking minutes away from Herro and Nunn. Our minutes were better spent there.

It’s sad to see the way it ended here for Dion, and certainly the FO needs to do a better job of letting people make mistakes and earn back trust. Happened with JJ too, among others.

Overall though it’s a win win. Dion goes to a contender and gets a solid role, we move his malcontented ass out the locker room and free up PT for the youngens.

Spo or any coach doesn't need to placate role players. If it were star player Spo , Riley and the FO would make concessions. They did it for Shaq when he still had it and they did for Bron. All the excuses Bron gave for leaving were BS. He wanted to leave for his legacy and brand. Now back to Dion, his production wasn't worth the headache. Same with Whiteside.
