New Head Coach Mega Thread
Who you got? The candidates leaked have been:
Wes Unseld Jr
Adrian Griffin
Kenny Atkinson
Darvin Ham
Ime Udoka (not in most current article but previously)
I think Darvin Ham is my guy. Do not want Kenny Atkinson.

Re: New Head Coach Mega Thread
Count me in as the guy who just doesn't want another "learn on the job" HC.
Of that list, KA is the only one that fits the bill.
I'd do a JVG or a JKidd or TLue (other names in reference to other potential vacancies).

Darvin Ham.
Handsome, liked him as a player, and has the last name Ham.

Hard to assess these assistant coaches.
I do know who I don't want any part of: Jason Kidd and Mark Jackson.

Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Fizdale is 71-134 as head coach, slightly better than Boylen

I was all for Griffin until yesterday. Definitely don't want him on the Bulls or in the league if anything that his ex-wife accuses him of is true. But I will trust AK on this.

He was fine in Memphis, fired for basically benching Gasol(who they were trying to keep happey but then traded him a year later). He racked up the losses when he went to the horrific Knicks who's best players the first year were T.Hardaway Jr., Mudiay, and Knox and the 2nd year was this year's Knicks which was a trainwreck of a roster.

All in on Udoka. Unseld makes sense too though as Evs close friend and his pops giving him his first break in the league.
With training camp happenings in Sept by the looks of things... AK has 2-3 weeks to hire a coach. With Raps and Nuggs making a playoff run don’t know how Udoka or Unseld would pull it off.

No way Griffin will get any airtime from AK now.

Udoka. More handsome, first name contains both “I” and “me”, both of which destroy ham. Utterly destroy.
So you know nothing about basketball.

Becky Hammon. Much better looking than either. First name has Be. Last name has Ham. You can literal BE HAM.
I fart in both of your general directions.
..........
Just as a qualifier, I don't have a dog in this hunt. Don't know enough about any of the candidates.

PLEASE let it be a coach with previous NBA head coaching experience. PLEASE. We've had only 1 since before Doug Collins.

Re: New Head Coach Mega Thread
Hard to have a strong opinion on this topic, how do you gauge assistants?
Vanterpool and Silas (from the Shams list) seem to have less experience in good organizations, but not sure what that really means. Depends a lot on the talent and responsibilities the guys have had as well.

Yeah, I'd definitely rather try someone new over all those guys.

For whatever reason, you removed the most talked about guys with previous experience
David Joerger
Kenny Atkinson
Not that I'm super excited about these guys.

To me as long as the accusations against Adrian Griffin are false he is my top choice.
Im curious though why others would not want kenny atkinson?
