If they bring the developmental approach that Denver and Philly have, probably a long time.

Listened to the PC, I love AK already. Gives nothing away. And I love that, correct me if I'm wrong, but word of Jim's firing came directly from AK, no prior media reports

based on the whiplash of the direction of the reporting the past week or so and then the sudden announcement today, i wonder if something changed behind the scenes or if reporters just don't have very good sourcing with AK's regime yet

GarPax being gone was also good. That was the main part. Once they were gone it was only when not if with Jim getting the can.

I don't get why people are feeling bad for Boylen. The guy has money. I wish I could really suck at my job and get millions to go away.

Every gm doesn’t give much away lol. Honestly though wasn’t crazy about this press conference from AK. They had a whole conference and he barely answered any questions, just wasted everyone’s time.

Kept saying basketball reasons on why he fired Boylen but would of been nice if he went a bit into detail. Say something since it’s a press conference about Boylens firing. Then didn’t like how he kept using the word “process”, I hate that word and all it means is he’s buying time. Must of used that word like 20x. Also AK doesn’t seem great with talking to the media, hopefully Eversley will be better with that.

Using the word “process” can mean buying time. But it can also mean “go suck eggs, I’m not telling you squat.” I think this is the latter.

One thing has been clear so far under AK, and that is the media isn’t being fed anything. At least not yet. And frankly, I’m one of those fans who hopes it stays that way. I don’t believe I’m entitled to anything from management beyond competence.

What’s the point of that though? When they have a press conference he should provide some information. I’m not saying to tell us exactly which coach he wants to hire or to say Boylen sucks but at least something more than this. He sounded like a preprogrammed robot using the same words. Again Eversley will probably be dealing with the media more so I’m guessing he’s more smooth with answering questions to the media.

KC continues to show he really isn't very good at getting insider information for us fans. He was reporting Boylen was looking like he was staying. He's a solid reporter, but he doesn't break any real news for us diehard fans.

Yea this is about the 5th time woj or shams has made kc look clueless to bulls affairs and he supposed to be the insider. This not the worst though the worst was when kc reported deng wouldn't be traded and woj bombs a deng trade like a day later lol

Woj and Shams make everyone look clueless. Those 2 get the first scoop about 99% of the time.

True true. So much is going on that them being fired seems longer ago than it really was.

Thank god. Might have to get NBA2K21 now just so I can stop seeing Boylen's stupid face. This was easily my least favorite season as a fan.

Of all the head scratching decison (there's a top 20 list there) by The Jimbo, the one that stood out to me was when Gafford got injured but Jimbo refuse to call TO to get him off the court. Carlisle had to call a TO to help him out.

Finally!!! Time to rejoice Bulls brethren, this really is a start of a new age. I always thought they were just waiting for the official end of the season to make a decision on Boylen because that would be a good look for the new FO that they didn't immediately fire Boylen the moment they got in. Now we need some lotto luck to get things going.

Joe Cowley sounded like a reporter from a school newspaper when he asked his question.
He's even worse at speaking than his writing or tweeting would imply.
Oh, and his tweets aren't aging well either. He came after me for a comment I left, which now
looks like I am in fact a better sports commentator than Joe Cowley, haha. He wound up on the wrong
side of our dustup. Gotta go back and screenshot those before he can delete them.
