Historic disaster, one that barcelona needs to learn when it's time to stop putting bondages on a bullet wound.
Barcelona's strenght for last 15 years has been mid field. Their mid field today is worst than one they had in 2003 when they were mid-table team that couldn't play CL.

Vidal is 33, plays like he is 38, late on every ball.
Frank de Jong is talented, but much like Felix and many other young players, simply incapable of delivering great performance in big games yet.
Busquets is as washed up as it gets.

Oh after writing everything i remembered that disaster named Sergi Roberto was in starting 11. Rakitic can play on 1 leg and still outplay him. ( not that is Rakitic as good as he was, he is also washed up, lot of us from Croatia belive he should not be part of starting 11 for us any longer with Kovacic , Pasalic and Vlasic simply being faster and more mobile ).

i just can't make up my mind witch Barcelona newcommer is worst. Malcolm, Lenglet,Frank, Grizmann or Dembele. Nice way to spend GDP of one poor country into stiff woods. ( my vote for Grizmann).

Philippe Coutinho scoring 2 goals in 5 min comming from Barcelona loan was last slap in the face. ( Couthinho is one-dimensional and only plays on attack, that's why he can't play on Bayern nor Barca, but it's still poetic justice because Yong nor Melo actually defended anybody whole season )

Messi is becomming part of the problem, not solution, his age becomes harder and harder to hide.

Transformation from this into more versitale, faster, more wing- oriented - 1 striker -false wings type of team will be hard for them.

And for Christ's sake, get a f**** menager/coach for once. Jesus Christ how does Betis coach at age of 61 becomes best candidate for Barcelona in first place? Guy menaged to be worst than Valverde. Enrique was last coach with any credibility.

And ofc huge props for Bayern, Lewa is maniac , guy might be best player in the world today.

Barcelona is a mess at every level right now. They are beyond fixing. I would blow it up and start from scratch

The problem is twofold.
President and directorship who are totally inept.

Ageing cabal of players who the board -out of fear for their rightfully delicate positions - are letting run riot over the coaches, tactics and player selection.

I don't know a coach with the balls and mandate to come in and weed out the overhead and cancer in the squad. Xavi isn't stupid enough to be that guy. He'll wait for a new board and another coach to fire his old mates and then may swoop in in a few years to run things.

But all the issues trace back to Bartomeu and his cronies, who are historically inept.

Imagine when Coutinho comes back next season and he is talking about the 8-2 with his teammates

Maybe Barcelona's rebuild will start by Messi going to Inter Milan?

On a side note, Pep didn't coach well yesterday as well and City lost to a worst team. Now it's France x Germany in both semi-finals.

PSG vs Bayern in the finals? That would be cool. I'd root for Neymar because I am Brazilian, but considering I have been living in Berlin since last year, I am OK with Bayern winning it all. They are destroying in this CL, 9 games, 9 wins and 39 goals scored :o
