Re: Boston/Memphis/Milwaukee pick watch
Clips win the battle of the benches in OT, delivering us the 26th pick officially. Every little bit counts.
Just need POR to take care of business tomorrow, and we finally can turn our attention fully to ourselves the rest of the way.

14 + 26 + 30 = 70; 7 + 0 = 7.
Trade with Chicago confirmed. Who's a difference-maker at 7th pick?

POR and LAC are making us sweat it out in these pick games!

it's such a strange draft kinda like last year. A player worth taking at #7 could very well still be there at #14. imo it's best to sit and use the picks wisely. We'll be losing Wannaker, we can let Semi leave, and Kanter likely opts out. So we'll have room to add and keep three first rounders. There isn't a roster crunch like Danny tried to convince everyone in 2016 thus justifying his horrible draft. Who knows, with a competent drafter we could walk out of the 2020 draft with a potential starter or two. But don't hold your breath.

Wannamaker will walk unless he will take the minimum again.
Semi 's option will be picked up. He has picked it up a notch in the bubble.
I think Kanter picks up his option.
I think we release Green
2 spots open, for 3 draft picks and Waters and Fall. still a roster crunch.

Does anyone know how much Wanamaker was making over seas? Tried to look it up yesterday, but only was willing to put in the bare minimum of effort and didn't find anything.
If we put together a performance in the playoffs this year that makes us look like a serious contender, I can see him leaving a bit on the table to stay and play meaningful ball in the last few years of his "prime".
If he was only making like 3-4 mil over there, I really think we'd be willing to offer him 2-3 to stick around. Even if you're not his biggest fan, you got to admit he's worth that kind of peanuts.

I'm obscenely hyped for a game against two middling Western Conference teams that we will not play against again this year.
Dare I say this is the biggest game of the season so far?

So. Portland just needs to win one game right. Memphis needs two?

MEM getting a lot of ORebs. About their only saving grace so far. POR cleans that up and this should be a wrap.

Re: Boston/Memphis/Milwaukee pick watch
This is what will happen we will get the 14 pick as griz won't win lotto. Then next year the griz will be a bottom 10 team and fire the coach.
It's almost the king's all over. Griz should never have been where they are now. League did superstar ja real early. He didn't need it but it for sure added some wins.

Wish it wasn't. A nice, cozy blowout would be nice one of these days. Portland can't keep surviving by the skin of their teeth indefinitely.
